  1. Deuteronomy 28:64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
Deuteronomy 28:66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
Deuteronomy 28:67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
Deuteronomy 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there yes shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

  2. Will somebody send a copy of this report to Elpresidente Obama. These are our children too. Or they are subhumans because they are black?.
Mr. President look at the system you are running, it is what causing these children to be killing each other in the street of your hometown.
Until the issue of slavery is discussed in this society and programs developed to deal with its lasting impact on young black men, this crisis will remain a part of the black world problem. It is not only in Chicago, it is all around the Caribbean, where slavery existed, and opportunity is lacking to the people. These crises, are a direct results of slavery and poverty, and mental health.

  3. I'm trying to think did we have all this mayhem during Reconstruction and even up to the 60's and the answer is no. Read Isabel Wilkerson's book – The Warmth of Other Suns. She writes (because she researched it) that in the midst of the brutality of the South, blacks had a stronger family structure than those in the North. Let's stop blaming slavery, access to weapons, gun shops, this that and the other. If a pile of dog crap is close by, am I going to get some. Easy access is no excuse for lack of control. If we ever decide to take control of our families with the men leading them instead of abandoning them, then maybe some of this nonsense will stop.

    • Read Malcolm X. Look what life he lived before he was incarcerated. In Philly they gang war for ever and they didn't even keep statistics or documents of black America. Uncle Tom's still exist today and they were around during slavery; physical labor and selective breeding = great athletes of today, deprival of education = blacks learning slower today or even unconsciously not valuing it, the deconstruction of the black family = no fatherhood today, excessive abuse = blacks can't control their anger so they kill, etc. If you think this everyday violence just started today you didn't grow up in the hood cause Phila been violent since I was born 83. I know all the street stories that America wouldn't talk about. Anyways, I need my 40 arces and a mule.

    • And that's 1 book. Look at the Phila Negro written by WEB Dubouis which examines the crime. Condolezza stated this to when our president who does really nothing for us took office. And Condolezza Rice is smarter then you. She went to college when she was 15.

    • Malcolm X went to jail, he had a black Haita ready to kill him. Examine how he talked about the street life. Also Bumpy Johnson was a killer back in the 30s. I got 2 degrees and 1 in special ed and its very noticable with our people. I can tell you didn't come a neighborhood that I came from just on how you talk.

This is the short version but Condolezza Rice stated birth defects from slavery. Sis don't be in the way or on the wrong team.

    • Plus its worldwide. How does all blacks all over the world handle conflict the same and die at alarming rates. If you think about this its logical and my family has been broken every generation since slavery, I study it.

    • Examine how Malcolm X used time instead of just doing time. Examine Booker T. Washington and others who overcame more than we could possibly imagine. Examine why some go to jail and that's it while for others it's their home away from home. We were not slaves but made to be slaves and thanks to welfare and boat loads of excuses we give to not do what we should be doing, we're heading back to bondage again. It's all about choices,

  4. @ keith … its horrible to see but it will never stop. It happens all over the world with black people from america, jamiaca africa etc. Its morally wrong but slavery has to have something to do with it because we are breeding everyday killers and the only other thing that could had effected the emotional temperment of blacks was slavery because that happened worldwide.

  5. send in the army on the scumbags – the thugs and gangbangers are ruining the black community for all of us – we as black folk have to address the situation!

  6. There are no excuses for the way humans turn into animals..over territories that they don't own!
