Michael Jordan had a busy time over the holiday weekend. Besides opening Christmas gifts and annoying his former co-workers in the NBA, Jordan took the time to pop the question to his long-time girlfriend, Yvette Prieto. During a vacation in Monaco, the former NBA superstar asked his girlfriend to marry him. He’s apparently been bitten by the love bug after swearing that he’d never get married again.
Jordan made $60 million this year, and likely pulled in a major lump of cash after people lined up for blocks for a chance to purchase the new Air Jordan sneakers. In his last divorce, Jordan gave up $300 million to his ex-wife, Juanita, and it’s likely that the second wife is going to be asked to sign a prenuptial agreement.
Sources are saying that Jordan paid seven figures for the engagement ring, but his reps haven’t released a statement.

Its a shame how we are helping Jordan and others make millions. Ask yourself Why are his shoes priced so high in this economy? if he truly loved his fans and wanted to show his appreciation he could make them cost worthy.

As a NBA basketball player, Mr. Jordan was maybe the best all around player of all times. But after his “rant” at the NBA induction ceremony a few years ago, it proved that as a man he lacks character. He proved to the world that he is his own “god” in his eyes.

I really like him as an athlete and I know we can’t have a say in who someone mates with, but with a history of white women as companions, it would lean to the opinion that when he looks in the mirror he may not like what he sees. When u look at your partner and they are not a reflection of u, there is something more to it than that, it could be genuine love but there is also a self defeatism thing going on too, good luck Mike!

Michael Jordan is the typical stereotype. The Black man who needs a Becky for validation-Negro. Look at his record. His ill behavior in his first marriage despite the fact that Juanita was educated, supportive and classy. He chased groupie white women more than they chased him. He was even dirty enough to pose for photos despite having a wife and kids at home. His latest quest had about as much money in her pocket when they met as I have. Only she’s filed bankruptcy. Well, she’s rolling in dough now! I remember the days when we all wanted to be ‘like Mike’ thank God we’ve grown. He’s a middle- aged fool.
