Bobby Brown: “Security Moved Me Three Times, Prevented Me From Seeing Bobbi Kristina”

Bobby Brown attended his ex-wife’s funeral but did not stay. It was initially reported that Bobby Brown left because he was offered family seating for three but arrived with an entourage of nine.

However, in a statement released by Brown a few moments ago, Brown says, “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston.  We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.”

“I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move,” he said.  “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

UPDATE:  The Houston family’s attorney has responded to Brown’s accusations that he was mistreated at his ex-wife’s funeral. Read the post here.

I walked out of the naked jungle and into the dawn of civilization, and they called me Pharaoh..God..!!! I built great momuments reaching the stars that still stand today, for all to see my power and my wonders. For even Moses, a son of my house, had to call upon a Hebrew God, to free Israel from my power…..I conquered what was then the world….Where was Greece and Rome..??? My seed was Mother Africa and The Nile sustained my life. And what mankind know of knowledge today, was born from within the essence of my Creed. I knew God and Gods before they became Gods…For I was their father..Amon Ra Most High…..All religious philosophy was born from African soil…

Mad Max, whenthe multi-racial army of The African Moors landed on The Iberian Coast in 600 AD, they were faced by an army of Spanish and European Christians dressed ladened in armor to protect their bodies and horses. When the sons of Allah saw this sight and heard the great clinking of the christian armor, they became unnerved. But General Al Tariff, having sense the fear among his men and rode among them speaking these words; If the christians believe in their God as we believe in Allah, than why do they wear armor to protect themselves in battle..?? I say among you today. That those of you who believe, that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his prophet, shall have a place in Paradise should he fall in battle today……charge…!!! And The African Moors won the day and ruled and bought civilization to Spain lasting over 600 years….!!!

Mad Max, I taught Black American and African History for many years as an adjunct professor and read two of the above recommended books. I have also wrote several papers relating to the civil rights revolution and Black urbanization circa: 1900-1942,etc,. I am by no means, a brainwashed or brain dead Negro…..Nor do I profess to be an expert on anything. I am just me……

“LarryJ” , There is Black American History and African History , then there is “Euro-centric Black American History” and “Euro centric African History” , from your effeminate stance i would think you study and taught the latter. No disrespect you do sound like a gay man, which i have no problem with but as most African Scholars on the MANLY side would agree , is that you along with black women and white women , you are not a threat to white society and their policies. Its just that gay men tend to share all if not most views of women with no hindsight to the threat of the Black family, because of the self centered feminine nature of your mindset. I have a few gay friends and they pretty much agree with that assessment, as their nature of things. Btw , which 2 book have you read ? As you spelled your credentials out i expected you to have read all if not most of what i listed but i truly appreciate you honesty , because that’s where true dialogue begins. I would suggest you watch “Hidden Colors” , “When the moors Ruled Europe” [800 years], “Black in Latin America”,”Slavery by Another Name”. I’ll just stop there. “Brainwashed” by Tomm Burrell along with “YURUGU” by Mirambi Ani are must reads. You can find Lectures of theses books by the authors also on youtube. But my biggest concern is the Eurocentric mentality of black people in our community and the destruction it cuases and its cost to us.

Mad Max, you really beleve that I am Gay..??? I am a disabled war vet and recipient of The Bronze Star, Combat Medical Badge, etc,.Of which I am proud. I am a retired New York State Parole Officer. Prior to that, I was employed for 5 years as a Child Protective Services Caseworker for New York City. I have an AA, BA, MPA and AAS in that order with numberous Certificates. I majored in Sociology and History. I taught evening classes in Black History, Business/Public Administration. I am a member of a small real estate partnership and a venture capitalist investor. I have a 33 year old daughter. And I have been places and done things, that most people dream about. I am not a braggadocio, but I resent being called Gay..!!! Had you said that to my face, you would be in a world of hurt if not just gone….I respesct everyone and know my limits in name calling…..I call Redbone “Redbone Azz” because, I really believe, she has a Redbone sweet azz. with no malice intended…..

“LarryJ”, I never said you were gay , I said “You Sounded Gay”, big difference . And i gave you the reason why i thought so. Even though you have an AA and a BS doesn’t mean you know true African History. Those are just credentials the Youropeans give us to sanction their tailor made diseducation. I give you much respect in your suervice to this god forsaken evil place despite the false flag lie that led us into the war in the VIETNAM in the first place as a result of the “Tonkin Gulf Lie” that Launched Vietnam War for war profiteers. Which they did again in 1967 with the USS Liberty [False flag] to start a another war with the Arab world , which is well underway now. Something the now retired vets couldn’t talk about until after declassification some 30+ years later “What I Saw That Day Israel’s June 8 1967 Holocaust of US Servicemen Aboard the USS LIBERTY and its Aftermath by Phillip Tourney”. I have much respect for those who served just like my step dad did in Vietnam [who he refused to talk about it to this day and rightfully so]. And my biological dad an army man for 27 years , “God rest his soul”. You and i have a few things in common 1 of which is the real estate investing , which i very much enjoy. I said you “Sound Gay”, there is a difference. I didn’t say you are gay. And i gave my reason why i felt that way. Having your AA & BS doesn’t mean you know true African history. It simply mean in my opinion that you have the credentials and Euro-centric information these Youropeans sanction us having. I am well aware of the Moors rule in Europe. I have much respect for your service given to this evil place god forsaken place and the unfortunate war for which you and so many others were mislead into fighting as a result of the “Gulf of Tonkin Incident”, a false flag to intentionally get us into the Vietnam war. Same thing they repeated in 1967 on the USS Liberty, laid out in the book “What I Saw That Day Israel’s June 8 1967 Holocaust of US Servicemen Aboard the USS LIBERTY and its Aftermath by Phillip Tourney”. i have much respect for those who served including my step dad, who served in Vietnam, but refuse to talk about it[understandably so]. Along with my biological dad “God rest his soul”, him an army man for 27 years. Larry *J*, you must be one of those effeminate men who cant see past your momma’s PANTIES. Black women, White men and White women seem to have an agenda to destroy the black man , because after all when the black man is out of the way and totally maligned beyond the single female household , it become fair game to rape the black woman and bastardize the children because the protector is now out of the way. Sadly enough the black women is so desperate to be accepted into white society , she will do anything to sell the black man up the f*****g river but little does she know she is selling her own a*s up the river. Most women aren’t thinkers they simply want to please everyone to go along to get along. The white agenda has already convinced the black woman that she can do better by herself that she don’t need no man even if her a*s all alone and childless throughout her exalting of fake female assertion and so called strength. If only she could figure out that her black a*s is being PLAYED , like a black and white keyboard. last time i checked white women ain’t leaving her man or saying she don’t need no man or saying she better off by herself but she done fool these dumb black sisters to buy into the bullshit she now clinging to as her mantra for what a strong family is ALL BY HER HERSELF. What does a mother say when she sees her “little man” starts putting on her high heels and wearing her lipstick ?….She go say aww ain’t he cute , he trying to be like mommy. Little does she know its the contempt she had for the black man. The same man she done run out the house because she feel she is the family [both man and woman]. Will she let her pride lead her or will she give in , my bet is she wont [h**l naw ] , she is always f*****g right. Later on her “Little Man” becomes a man only to find himself with another man to fill the shoe of the man his mother done run out and no grand kids to look forward to because all his seed is ending up in scores and scores of a**l CANALS. Only because we got another black woman who wants to fit into a white system designed for the white designers and “The Destruction of Black Civilization [Chancellor Williams]“

I was born and raised Baptist with Jewish people in my life since I was born. I pray for truth and that I continue to examine myself to see if I really am in it and am who I want to be or what others say I should be! The history of religion is one filled with war, crimes against humanity, and a vision to be worshiped like God and rule the world! New children are born every day and can be abused and twisted and their minds tormented so they would never believe in a peace that has not come yet as is promised in the Bible. What do you do/say when you care challenged with scripture that says you can do greater things than Jesus and then you get thrown in a river and told to walk on water, or raise the dead, or drink poison and live, or pick up a venomous snake? And then it says you are wicked and adulterous to seek signs and no sign would be given except the sign of Jonah. If you read the book of Jonah, the King of Nineveh was not Jewish or Christian, but was spared because of his belief and declared a fast and called on his nation to repent. A book for the hopeless, children not sure of who their fathers are, and slaves – created as a means to control others – seems so. However, the Universe and human anatomy are my way of truly believing there is a God and knowing that it is the spirit within that gives life – the flesh profits nothing. May we all conquer the fear of death!

AB , you learned God is not found in a book then where do we get indoctrinated from ?, the sky ? out of thin air ? Again you sound silly. You said your Grandfather “My grandfather once told me to do my best not to hate anyone, because if you were told you were superior all your life, you’d believe it too!” And you were raised Baptist “with Jewish people in my life since I was born” the worst people to be raised around , no wonder your d**n grandfather had to soberly instruct you against being superior because that’s what they teach in the Jewish Bible “The Talmud”. They are the most racist and hateful group on the planet and i am not making this s**t up, even my d**n Jewish teacher told me that in Ethics class in college and come years later i began looking into it and the things i have learned as a result of it is “a*s-TONISHING”. Not only is Christopher Columbus Jewish [Ashkenazi], so was Hitler’s mother a Jew but it doesn’t stop there , they are the primary component of slavery along with the brokers of it. Dont take my word for it there’s many books , i will only suggest 2 of them [The Talmud Unmasked by I. B. Pranaitis & The The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews Volume 1 and 2], Video [The Shocking Jewish Role in Slavery - The Media Coverup.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6r8vH8Dehw. Am not hateful of theses people i just wanted to know the truth about what i was taught as a child and in the "BYBLE", Which none of it turns out to be true. Anyway my point is, repeating the same lies over and over in a book called the "Byble" , DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE. As my Jewish college teacher told us , the Byble is a book of laws and mores in the absence of laws back when we had no laws, as most governance's were based on the bible. Too much of the truth has been HIDDEN BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE VATICAN TO KNOW WHAT THE TRUTH IS. THERE IS THE MACCABEES BIBLE, THE SUMERIAN TEXT AND THE SANSKRIT, THERE ARE MORE BUT I DON'T REMEMBER THEM RIGHT NOW. As the Byble stated and "REDBONE" reiterated "My people perish for (LACK) of knowledge, because they refuse the knowledge that I put before them" , and so we are PERISHING. Our FUTURE RESTS WITH OUR WOMEN. THEY HAVE MORE POWER THAN WE DO BUT THEY ARE NOT EXERCISING IT , INSTEAD THEY ARE LETTING THE EURO-CENTRIC SOCIETY WE LIVE IN GOVERN THEIR MINDS AND HOW THEY THINK ACT , DRESS [wear too much weave messing their scalps up] AND TURNING ON THEIR MEN AS THE DIVISION & CONQUERING CONTINUES. As the old saying goes if you want to fool a black man & woman , put it in writing. The more KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE THE EASIER IT IS TO DEAL WITH LIFE, LIFE BECOMES A LITTLE LESS FRUSTRATING AND MISERABLE BECAUSE YOU HAVE MORE KNOWLEDGE TOWARDS SOLUTIONS. As we say in real estate investing, there are more solutions than there are problems.

Hi Max, it’s ab again. Dealing with the real live physical world, I read your post about our “so-called leaders” and I understand. I am a Marcus Garvey girl myself, maybe even Medger Evers, and the words of Malcolm that we as a people need to help ourselves, but history has taught us to hate each other and go for the buck. The best way to keep us divided is to divide and conquer by making us dependent on others economically and fear for our safety with our own people. I feel for women who have never known what it is to have good black men raise them. I, too, am sick of the constant movies of black male bashing produced by black folk. My grandfather once told me to do my best not to hate anyone, because if you were told you were superior all your life, you’d believe it too! We are all in the same boat. I fear for this nation and hope we do not have another 9/11 – which NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED! Peace!

I have Marcus Garvey’s book and 9/11 was an inside job carried out by the mossad. The end game of 9/11 is all geared towards obtaining and controlling the middle east. Did you know we now have 1,000 bases around the world ? Ever ask yourself why in the world any country need so many ? Its the goal of the Zionist rulers to control the planet and bring in the new world order, the same group who claim to be gods chosen people , which is a load of c**p for those mindless church going idiots who chose to believe that s**t . I never heard of our God to function in such a totalitarian way. Nothing IS WHAT THEY SEEM OR APPEAR. Always ask questions and the best 1 to ask is WHY and the other questions will surface ?

            Hi Max,

Sorry, I was away for awhile. May need surgery on my eye! I welcome opposing views as it helps me learn. I still believe that God is not found in a book, but knowledge has to come from somewhere and then it needs to be tested and examined. TRUTH, I hope shall prevail when it comes to all religions – unfortunately it seems that disaster happens before change can come and I don’t think women and children should be “collateral damage.” I’m nervous now about Al Sharpton’s Selma to Montgomery March 3/4-3/9 and the images that come to mind. The 1960′s was traumatizing. I am also reminded that it was a black man who killed Martin Luther King’s mother in church, among others. I try my best to stay balanced and I still hope and pray for peace and healing! One of my fears is that the Jews and Muslims will come together before this country does and that will leave us where?

Let me repeat , to say god is not found in a Book is an Oxymoron because that’s where all the knowledge and teachings are found or recorded. I agree with your statement too because god is found inside our hearts and around us and in our spirituality. We are born as blank pages as a child and then get imprinted by our parents what they were socialized into[gentile r jew]. In search for TRUTH or the in the revelation of it WOMEN & CHILDREN arent spared. I dont see why women should be exempt either given their struggle for equality, we dont live in the days of corsets and hand held bamboo fans. So everyone is fair game. Sharpton’s march give’s me adulation and not FEAR. Have you been to Alabama or Mississippi lately ? they are LYNCHING BLACKS and LABELING IT SUICIDES. Blacks arent known for suicide despite our struggles, of course there are the exceptional few for every group but it just aint the cultural norm for us. Also dont see how the murder of Martin Luther Kings mother’s death in church by the hands of a black man has to do with anything. The Jews murdered Jesus and so what ? My fear is that the Zionist Jews will succeed in their ultimate goal of a New World Order and enslave the PLanet , they keep ramping up the war with Iran even though they pose no threat. Bear in mind that black people only came out of Slavery since 1942, [Slavery by a Another Name , book & Dvd]. Gievn what we have accomplished in only 60 years , i’d say its remarkable. But we still have a long way to go and UNITING is so far our BIGGEST CHALLENGE.

I forgot to add that Jewish Priests and bosses also told me, (after 9/11) how they came to America with Christopher Columbus. Supposedly Queens Isabella put them on one of his ships during the Spanish Inquisition when they wouldn’t convert to Catholicism and it seems Israel didn’t want them there either. Met an Israeli at the bus stop who wanted to know if I was going to Harlem and he told me if I ever went to Israel to never go the Northern part as it wasn’t safe. My bosses told me we took things in the bible too literally and non-Jewish people were not under the law. Also had a Cardinal who said the Catholic Church should apologize to the Jews for the Spanish Inquisition – he died very strangely in 30 days! It’s just so sad that 9/11 had to happen for more TRUTH to come out. Now the news is about IRAN! I would like to have some peace before I leave this planet, but whatever!

I wish people stop for one second and put their selves in the families shoes.

Houston’s family: planning a home going service is so full of emotions. You try your hardest not to forget everyone and everything, but you do.. Because of the fact that Bobby Brown has been divorced from their daughter for 5 years, it is easy to assume that his other children from previous relationship was not going to come and they accommodated his curent spouse and child forgetting to add the rest of his children. Again it is easy to forget something when you are in that much pain. No parent scould have to bury their child. I know that pain. I lost my child 4 years ago.

Bobby Brown: even though you are no longer with someone it hurts to know the co parent of your child has passed on. I personally would not have left. But everyone greive differently. It could have been to painful for him to stay. He dd what he needed to do for hisself and my heart felt prayers go out to him! May the good Lord keep him!

Bobby Kristina: She took the death of her mom so hard that she had to be rushed to the hospital! This poor baby! I can say for a sertain this baby was numb! Even if she knew what was going on she wouldn’t been able to process it till much later. She very much love her dad. And never had a problem with him. But her mom was her best friend.

We can easily say what we would have or have not done. But before you do.. Think about the person you love the most and imagine their passing. Then put yourself in the shoes of this family.. On a personal note: my son was 10 when he died. And to this day people come up to me and how they enjoyed his service. And I have to stop and say, ” you were there?” because I was so numb and heartbroken I don’t even remember who was all at his service. So please be mindful of others before you condem. This family needs the prayers of true believers of Christ! And if you do not believe! Then you have my love and prayer!

Its President`s Day again. And we are honoring three now dead Presidents. Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. The first two were slave masters and the third freed the slaves and was murdered for doing so. Washinton was a thief and lier. Jefferson raped one of his young slaves and got her pregnant at her young age of 16 and later had several more children with her, of whom, he only set free two because they looked more White than Black. Also, his slave concubine, was a half black sister of his first late wife !! Abe Lincoln was a very complex man with many doubts and demons in his mind. But he was a man who held to his convictions and saved The Union and ended the inhumanity of slavery…..Had he lived, he would have transported all the freed slaves back to Africa and some to Haiti. Though he abolished slavery, he believed that Blacks were inferior to Whites and could not live among Whites as equals. Though many poor Whites were valued less than slaves…..What a history….!!!

Hey good people, how do some of you feel about New York City`s Archbishop Timothy Dolan being elevated to Cardinal within The Roman Catholic Church. Here is a man who protected pedophiles and is against women`s right to aportions. This “Man Of God”, is now a big shot in a church that once sanction burning heretics alive, sanction slavery and killed millions of Indians, Africans and Asians to steal their gold, sliver and lands, all in the name of God, King and Church…!!! Did you know, that all “Christian Churches” evolved from the original Roman Catholic Church…???

I can see why we as African Americans struggle. EX – husband invited to funeral. He comes somewhat late with extra guests.I am sure asked to move in an attempt to accommodate their insensitivty to guidelines provided. (Mother chose smaller venue, she wanted a Christian burial vs. show time at the Apollo)

Ex decides to leave and make it about him vs. honoring the memory of his daughter’s mother and sacrifice his feelings for a “short period of time” to support his daughter and the family he was once a part of regardless of how anyone felt.

Hmmm… wouldnt maturity be the priority???

At least it wasn’t the family that was asking him to keep moving. The security was probably acting on the orders of the family, but Whitney’s mom was having such a difficult time dealing with the lost of her daughter that she probably didn’t pay any attention to him. I feel it was a shame that his children were treated that way. I am sure they had feeling for Whitney and wanted to say good bye to her as well…..as for as them not letting him see his daughter, that is just crazy. If he has gotten his act together and is no longer on drugs then he should be allowed to see her. He has been apart of her life for most of her life, so its not like she doesn’t know who her father is. Just let the man see his daughter. He is not trying to take her from Whitney’s family, he just wants to spend some time with her.

My opinion is that Mr. Brown did what was right, leave peacefully. When there is limited seating and an ocassion is based of that, NO ONE has the
right to bring more than those invited and expect
preferential treatment because of who they are. He
should have been more considerate and respectful.
My understanding is that the family allocated 4 seats to him and he brought 9 people. Where is his sense of protocol? My sentiments are to the
daughter who lost her mother Bobbi Kristina and so should his have been and not to showcase.

A church is not a public domain in this country as it should be. Churches are “community religious club houses” Where people, usually of the same race, economic and social back ground, come to woship their religion and their God and to practice what they believe. And “outsiders” are not really welcome. I have seen and heard “church people” fighting over seats. This is my seat or this is your seat nonsense….I heard church sisters gossip about what another sister is wearing, who is her baby daddy, is she or he married, Pastor Goldbricks bought a new Lexus and is bedding sister Hootchie Momma, etc.,The Devil just wait outside the church door after every service, to claim new souls for h**l…..

Bobby I’ve been thinking for hours now why did you leave the church. You say that security asked you to move three times and felt that wasn’t necessary for them to ask you to move so many times. However, Bobby, if this is true that the family invited you and only two others to your ex-wife’s funeral and you took it upon yourself to bring nine others, then you were WRONG. If this is true of you Bobby I’d like to ask you a question, When will you grow up? However, if this isn’t the way it happened and there’s more to the invite then you being wrong in bring nine guests with you, then please make yourself clear so that we all may understand the thuth on why you left the church.

Am I missing something here..???? All I heard was that Whitney believed in The Lord and read The Bible, etc,. With all due respect for Whitney. If she was so God fearing, why were her last days filled with drugs, alcohol, arguments and fights, etc,. Leading to a substance abuse accidental death.???A At no time during her funeral, from The Pastor, family members and famous friends, did anyone mention Whitney`s drug and alcohol abuse that led to her death…!!! No one mention that her life began to spiral out of control and downward, because of her drug addiction and abuse. Her funeral was more of a whitewash than a celebration of her true life up until the end….

Eugenia, peace with love. I respect all religious philosophy. But we have to separate the mythology and lies from the truth, if we will ever know the truth during our time. What you know about God is what the slave masters told our people to pacify them and make them docile in spirit and body towards their White and Arab masters. The WHite Christians and Muslims took parts from Judaism and subverted it to their purpose. Even Judaism is a result of various local religions those parts were appealing to the Hebrews/Jews. Did you know that Black and Asian peoples had their own religious philosophies long before Judaism, Christianity and Islam…..? But I can tell that The Whiteman has brainwashed you well in believing in his White God..!! So there is nothing I can express here, that would open your limited mind a little. God do not enslave people. God do not kill people. God do not make life miserable for people…men do..!! God is the creator and not the destroyer…The Universe goes on forever and is recreating itself 24/7 with new planets and life. Do you think that God has time to deal with our petty nonsense…? We humans are the creators of our own behavior. You should look about the world and see the injustices we imposed upon ourselves and our planet. Peace my sister.

Larry J..I want to answer what you said, but let me just say to Wayne who talked about Bobby seeking legal help. Well brother he will waste his money. She is a grown woman, and even if Kristina was 16, the judge would rule in her favor if she states she does not want anything to do with him. Bobby just has t give Kristina some time. She will come around. We don’t know what she feels right now. The media may show her smiling or crying, but we don’t really know. People put up fronts for the camera, to try to mislead. Perception is something. I just hope Whitney’s death confirms that life is not as long as we think, so we better live right, and set examples for children. One thing we do know is security acts under orders. They don’t just say move unless they were asked to. Security was acting under orders from someone, or they would not have known who belonged in those seats. Yes Bobby was wrong in coming with 9 other individuals if he was asked to have 3 in attendance. This means if he came with 2 of his children, one could not attend. It’s hard to tell your kids to flip a coin, so yes…if one can’t go n one goes. Since he only had 3 children besides Kristina, this means he needed a space for 4 people (including him). At that time he should have asked Whitney’s mother if she could make room for 1 more (making it an invitation for 4). That, I’m sure would not have been a problem. The other people he brought with him, he should have talked to them, and made them understand that this day is about Whitney. The 5 extra people should have left and waited outside. If I was an extra, I would have understood. There is no way I could allow my brother to leave that church knowing how much he loved Whitney and his daughter. Cissy was already given the capacity of how many people the church could hold, and she acted accordingly. She had to limit family and close friends. She may or may not have wanted Bobby there, and I will say why I think she didn’t in a minute. Bobby should have stayed and I don’t care if his daughter did or did not want him next to them, he should have stood strong, even if he was in the back of the church, to let his daughter know that no matter how she or the family feels he and her half brothers and sister were there for her and Whitney regardless. But, no he felt embarrassed about it, and felt if he could not be where he wanted, he would walk out of there, and he did. If he wanted to keep the peace he would not have said a word to the media because they are like vultures who misconstrue everything. This is why I believe he wanted his own lime light. That’s fine, but that day was not the day to give the media ammunition, to print more BS. Larry J…we don’t know how Whitney died. Yes she was still drinking and partying a couple days before the day of her death, but she left the chapter of drugs when she got her final divorce from Bobby. It was not easy. Any addiction is a struggle. The people that spoke at the funeral were careful of what they said, and how they said out of respect for Whitney and the BS she has trying to put behind her…but almost all of them, including the pastor indicated she had it rough (we know what that is). It did not need to be spelled out. Whitney is her own woman, who talked about smoking marijuana in high school. She wasn’t with Bobby then, and a lot of teenagers indulged in weed. When you start making a lot of money, then you start thinking marijuana is not good enough. So NO I don’t believe Bobby is solely responsible for the road Whitney was heading down, but I truly blame him for not being the strong black man in her life, to help her travel in the right direction. I don’t care how many times she fell, he should have been there to catch her, but he wasn’t (so much for vows before God), this is why God chose his time to take over. I don’t like pointing fingers, but if I’m weak, my life partner steps in to help me get strong. If we are both weak, we have to look to God and let God destroy all demons in our lives. Saturday, media says Whitney was found in the tub, where they say the shower curtain was pulled down, and she was faced down in the water. Media also said the police searched around her hotel room and found prescription drugs (her medication prescribed to her), and no signs of drinking in her room. Sunday, all of a sudden another paper has Whitney was found in tub with prescription drugs next to her..what BS..the police already said Saturday that they had to search the room because it did not seem like foul play, but they needed to be sure. That is when all of a sudden they found her medication (after searching). They (Media)did this same thing to Dorothy Daindrige, when she was found on her body on bathroom floor (overdose). So this what people end up believing. A half hour before DD was suppose to leave to take a flight to star in her new movie, she all of a sudden overdosed. So Why do we have to feel that it was drugs that killed Whitney? Did anyone think once that she could have just had a heart attack, and fought to get out of the tub (pulling on shower curtain), and knocking her bath oil and everything in the tub to get out? The coroner said out of his own mouth (not what was written by media) that he would not say for another 4 weeks, how she died. WE DON’T KNOW HOW SHE DIED. We probably will never know. The newspapers put plenty of pictures (of her being drunk) in the paper, that upset me terribly. Here is a beautiful woman, whom I adored,, and loved all her songs and movies, found dead, and the best they could write is it must be drugs, just look at her pics? What does partying the day before have to do with what happened the next afternoon? This is a woman who just made the remake of movie sparkle, and asked by Simon Cowell to be a judge on X-factor, for millions a season, and they want (media) us to think she didn’t care about her life? You don’t address a drug problem at a funeral, it’s inappropriate, but her closest friends spoke the appropriate way about her struggles and worries about being accepted. She was loved internationally, and at a funeral you remember some of the things that made you laugh, just to balance out the emotions you feel over someone’s death. In answering another statement about the Winans. They were like her extended family, so they all were there (but it wasn’t 9). I have not much of a comment where Ray J is concerned. He was no good influence on her either. He partied and did more crazier things than her. I have had questions about that relationship that is still not cleared yet. I’m going to stop with criticisms, because you can’t believe everything you hear, and you should only speak on fact (something media never investigates). I just want us to get out of ridiculing each other, and try to come together stronger as a race. We fall for too many things and we jump to conclusions, and that is the media’s fault for printing what they don’t know. This country needs a lot of work, and that is what we should be talking about, instead of assumptions or cover ups, to make us believe or disbelieve. I am deeply sorrowed that we lost Whitney, and I pray her family develops strength together, after this.

JENNIFER , you are either a close friend of the Houston family, an outright feminist ,a naive female [clearly not well informed], an agent of disinformation for people responsible for her murder or YOU ARE JUST AN OLD CHURCH LADY WHO LIVE IN A BUBBLE. In your WINDED SPEECH , you blame the men even though they were ALL YOUNGER THAN WHITNEY. You absolve an older COUGAR FEMALE of ALL HER RESPONSIBILITIES , and put them all on the men SHE CHOSE.JENNIFER you need to go and read the book “BRAINWASHED BY TOM BURRELL”. I too loved Whitney and her music , but this constant BASHING OF US BLACK MEN IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAME. Too many of our black women GET A PASS on everything and simply shuffle the blame onto us without taking ANY GOD d**n RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING. The only thing they seem to care about is what they can get for themselves and their KIDS at the expense of us black men despite the cost to our community and us who are the GUARDIANS OF IT. I bathe in history books and books PERIOD. Whitney didn’t die accidentally or committed suicide, When you read the ear witness account from the next room you could clearly discern that she was drowned in some fashion and she was over powered. This was planned. The same way Eazy E was put down is the same way she was too as well as Michael Jackson. Black men have been scapegoated from the days of slavery through to this day for every d**n thing and our women haven’t speed up enough to changed a d**n thing, except sit on their a***s and blame us for everything they are too scare, reluctant or lazy to do. Black Women don’t get pulled over 1/2 as much, women didn’t get lynched & burned 1/2 as much, black women didn’t die in the war of the north & south, WW1 & WW2 , black women didn’t get 1/2 as harassed as us while driving while black, black women dont get 1/2 as arrested or incarcerated for child support even though back in the 50′s,60′s and 70′s we raised our kids just fine with home cooked meals . Where today so many black women cant f*****g cook or dont know how or dont feel they have to as long as there is McDonald’s around the corner. If a father challenges the mother the STATE REPRESENTS HER FOR FREEEEEE , where as the father HAS TO PAY A DEFENSE LAWYER $150 per hour to do the same. No who the h**l can afford that unless ur P.DIDDY or O.J. ? So many men do what they cant help do , and that is to walk the f**k away and start over with another b***h and hope that the child come find him one day when he already LOST ALL HIS MEMORY OF HER TO THE SYSTEM AND AN EMOTIONALLY VINDICTIVE MOTHER WHO IS h**l BENT ON EQUAL PARENTING.Supreme court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg says women are awarded kids by DEFAULT because the LAW IS WRITTEN IN THAT FASHION. Another thing GOD AINT GOT f**k TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS. IF he did people wouldnt be starving in f****n Africa, 6 million dead in the congo , 7 million of us in prison and counting , 95% of the planet live in POVERTY and EUROPEANS STILL f****n UP THE WORLD . Its up to US TO UNITE AS PEOPLE , not mother over fathers or fathers over mother. In medical school , IT WAS NEVER TAUGHT THAT WOMEN MAKE BETTER PARENT THAN MEN OR VICE VERSA. In the Caribbean men cook and change diapers just as much as women do but its only in EURO-CENTRIC SOCIETIES this is seen as UNIQUE and MIRACULOUS. Why because OUR BLACK WOMEN DONT KNOW THEIR d**n HISTORY FROM DAYS OF EGYPT UP TO TODAY EXCEPT THE RUBBISH THEY TEACH US ABOUT WE AS SLAVES. Not as ENGINEERS or HOW WE RULED EUROPE FOR 800 YEARS B4 THE RUNNING OF THE BULLS IN SPAIN AFTER WE WERE DRIVEN OUT AND THE SUBJUGATION OF SLAVERY BEGAN IN 1492 ONLY TO END IN 1942,SCHOLARS AND INVENTORS OF THE WASHINGTON MALL , THE BIG BEN CLOCK IN ENGLAND , THE WASHING MACHINE, THE COTTON MACHINE , THE SHOE MACHINE , SOPHIA STEWART [WRITER AND CREATOR OF THE MATRIX & TERMINATOR]. I could go on and on read “The Talmud Unmasked by I. B. Good Morning Mighty MAX…
OMG!!! LMAO you sound just like me, so that lets me know that you are a true Godman. You have a real relationship with God, and you have a clear understanding that you can’t get the best of God from no d**n fools in the pulpit, cause those b*****s don’t even have it at all…wink! Takes one to know one. I was born and raised amongest the worst of those evil-a*s money hungry pimps, but believe me when I tell you I didn’t let none of those b*****s pimp me, but they sure as h**l pimped my parents,”BIG-TIME”… I was raised a COGIC kid /aka:Preachers kidd. I escaped when I left home at 17yrs old. Whitney was the same way, and her mom/family was controlling her threw the spirit of religion, because thats all they know, h**l that’s all any of us know until we start learning to actually pickup books outside of the bible that our God leads us to to read. God says: My people perish for (LACK) of knowledge, because they refuse the knowledge that I put before them… Whitney had a true relationship with the Lord, something 98% of all these d**n church folk don’t even have. God didn’t say don’t go out and live your life, he said take him with you when you go out to live your life. Jesus said: Behold I stand at the doors of the church and knock and these fools won’t even let him in, so he said fine, I’ll go to the down trodden and fellowship, and that is exactly where he is. He was always excepted at the hoe house, the bars, clubs, tax collectors etc, but never at the church house, so what the h**l does that tell you. Whitney was like the prodical son. Her and Bobby are just being used of God, but these d**n people are so fucken caught up in their d**n flesh that they don’t have eyes to see and ears to hear what the true spirit of God is really saying to his people. So they have all become a*s-ci-nine judges of themselves, while Whitney has been blessed to get the h**l out of all this bullshyt. Whitney never bit her tongue when she needed to get her point accross, and she loved Bobby Brown, if not for one reason only, because nobody else loved him. That’s how Jesus worked, he always glued himself to people nobody else loved, and the real heathens are the judgemental holier then thou haters /aka: d**n religious fools/ aka: church folk… God said the church would be the last ones to enter into his kingdom. Whitney did a work in Bobby Browns life, and also his children before God seperated them, so that mission was done. Bobby was a good man for not running after Whitney when she left, h**l somebody had to be strong, but Bobby was never the real crackhead, it was Whitney. Bobby loved and respected his woman and visa versa, he will never tell the real truth about Whitney behind closed doors, and thats a true gentlemen for you, cause it really ain’t nobody’s d**n business anyway.. There is a story in the new testiment where Jesus gave a couple of his servants some seeds to go out and plant. Two of the servants saved and protected their seeds, and the other ones went out and squandered theirs. God destroyed the 2 servants who saved and protected their seeds, and he blessed the servants who squandered their seeds.. The moral of the story is, if you don’t plant nothing, then nothing will grow, so there is nothing to be taught, and no lesson learned, mean now growth on the vines, ending up with a weak sick vine that God always prunes away… If a man don’t experience life how can he learn to know who our God really is… say humm The rest is only pure “RAT SHYT”…MOI

LarryJ, you are on target. Why are we so quick to judge? Did you all have a chance to see Oprah’s last interview with Whitney? We must remember that Christians have feelings too, especially a parent who has just lost a child. I do believe that the Houston family has forgiven Bobby but he apparently has very little respect for the family but in time he will see his daughter again, if she wants to see him. Also, its not easy for a 18 year old to forgive a father who spat in her mother’s face (Opra’s). (Its hard to be a Christian, yet it’s so easy).

I agree with many of the previous comments that Bobby should have respected as a father for his daughter in the most difficult time inher life. Bobby should not let this incident slide because he has legal rights in a public place of worship if it is considered a “501(c) nonprofit organization”. Now if Bobby would have reacted bitter and disrespectful to his ex-wife Whitney, and never acknowledged her death, never attempted to attend her funeral, publically spoke out about tensions in their past marriage, it would have caused a “media firestorm” as it should. However, we see this much too often, when this brother attempts to do the right thing despite his pundits who blame him for Whitney’s problems and ultimately her death in some conversations I have overheard, he is mistreated and disrespected in the eyes of the entire nation. With that said, I feel the Houston family and the decision-makers behind the incident should carefully look at hemselves in the mirror and ask if Bobby was in the casket, would a similar incident occur if Ray Jay and Whitney attended? I do not think this would have occurred because there is a double standard in our society based on gender and perception of reputation. Black men have always been labelled as distrustful, lazy, unfaithful, untrustworthy, unintelligent, and violent. This is why Black men cannot catch a cab at night in cities, cannot get an interview for a good job, and once hired to meet federal regulations/statistics quotas, they are not retained in the workforce. We need to create strong advocacy groups for Black men to empower each other such as Bobby Brown because this was an incident that went further than Whitney’s funeral. Overall, the service was a private ceremony, Bobby should also consult with legal professionals to understand his rights and responsibilities as a biological father who followed all the rules and didn’t make a scene while the world was watching and anticipating he would. That’s my opinion.

Bobby Brown was instrumental in the negative events leading to Whitney`s death. And what kind of “good father?” could he had been to his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and she at only 18 years old, is drinking and doing drugs…..She should be in college..!!! Whitney`s family did not wanted Bobby Brown there in the first place. But they relented, and invited him with access to three seats and he come with nine people…!!! Bobby Brown was thinking about himself and not there to respect Whitney, Whitney`s family, nor his daughter..!! Bobby Brown should have been in that casket….!!! Bobbi Kristina has a lot of money coming her way and Bobby Brown will use her like he used her mother. I fear for Kristina……..

Because you are making judgements about things you don’t know about based on ONE SIDE of the story, and I wouldn’t believe half of what comes out of Bobby Brown’s mouth. First off, he himself acknowledged there would be seats for THREE for his group, yet he shows up with NINE. Secondly there may be a perfectly good reason Security stopped him from seeing his Daughter, like maybe SHE did not want to see him. She is a grown woman now and from what I have heard is no shrinking violet. And if she wanted to see her Father I am sure SHE would have put Security in check. Frankly, if she did, I applaud her.

In an internationally televised decision of an INVITATION ONLY FUNERAL BOBBY BROWN BREACHES THE CODE OF CONDUCT by on his own bringing 6 more persons. Houston’s former husband, Bobby Brown, also arrived at the service but left soon after. Brown walked by Houston’s casket with his head down before the service began and then left. Brown accused security of treating his family badly and barring him from visiting with his daughter, an account that Houston’s family denied.

Brown was expected to attend with two guests but showed up with 10 people and sat in a section reserved for family, a close friend of the Houston family told CNN on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

When Brown refused to reseat his entourage to make room for Houston’s mother, the family asked police to intervene, the family member said. (CNN)

After ready these comments and opinions of Whitney, Bobby Brown and Bobbie Kristian. It appear that most folks on here knew them personally. If that’s the case where the h**l were you all when she was destroying herself and/or allowing BobbyB. to destroy her. Bottom line, none of us truly knew Whitney or Bobby, everything we write or say is heresay at best. An if any of you truly believe that it’s Bobby fault for her drug habits, I’m sure you’re broke as h**l and blame the Gov’t and the White
man for all of your problems. Try sticking to the actual facts; Whitney and Bobby B. was married, they both used drugs, the created a child together, they had problems, they divorced, she died; Bobby came to the funeral and he departed the funeral prior to the services; he made a statement based on his observation. Anything else is speculation.

I must disagree with the majority of you. In my opinion, Bobby should not have been at the funeral, and I would have supported the Houston family to instruct he and his posse of nine to leave. While Whitney made choices that subsequently ruined her life and gifts, it was Brown who led her down that path, and was a constant road block in her efforts to recover. Admittedly, I’m walking the fine line of offering opinion and passing judgment, but I have no problem in faulting Brown for Whitney’s death. Sadly, the wrong person is gone.

She chose That man, over Eddie Murphy, Kevin Cosner & all the other options she had available @ the time of her hey days! WHITNEy liked & wanted a bad boy because she was a bad girl the same way most church girls are! That women had much more qualified options available, in an interview she said that brotha never hit her but she would hit & fight him! How do we know she didn’t bring the dope to the relationship, people need to quit sayin Bobby got her on drugs because its interesting he’s supposedley been clean for the last few years yet he’s not the one who relapsed! Whitney Houston had to be doing drugs for recreation before she met Bobby Brown. NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU DO DRUGS OR DRINK. If you are not into that you are not going to do that kind of damage to your life. I feel it is a shame that the Houston family prevented Bobby from sitting with them. I feel he should have beeen allowed to sit with them and, requested that the ushers find seats for the other members of the family. They don’t know it yet but,Miss Bobbi-Kristina is going to give the Houston family a run for their money when she starts to rebel because, her mother was her everything. When she is ready she will contact Bobby. I don’t know anything about Whitney Houston’s stints in rehab but, from the outside it appeared that she wanted to do her recovery on her own terms. When you decided to get help for drugs/alchol abuse you have to be ready or it will NEVER WORK. You can’t do it for your family or you friends. You have to be sick and tired of that lifestyle and do it for youself. As a fan from the beginnig it is a sad sad day. If reminded me of when African-American was hooked oh Heroin or perscription drugs between 1930′s,-1970′s and died. It just hurts.

Bobbi Kristina is 18 and will seek out her Dad according to her decision, IMO…Everyone is tragically affected by this It is a shock in spite of the history. Strength to them all for some comfort and healing. You are never the same after such sadness. To blame anyone doesn’t solve anything. I myself am very sad and didn’t realize just how very much I enjoyed her…though I would break out in her songs at times…God Bless everyone. I do think that though some things turn out bad,it’s not really what people want!!! All around forgiveness and respect is so needed.

Mr. Brown took the high road and left, rather than being provoked into a confrontation. He was there to comfort and console his daughter. Unfortunately this injury cannot be undone. An people because people show up one a regular basis in a congregational setting, does not mean that they are G dly. It means that they are in regular attendance.

I think Bobby Brown should have handled this better, but he maybe felt he was insulted by Whitney Houston’s family on purpose because he was seated far from his daughter. The family should have made it easy for Bobby to sit close to his daughter, but they didn’t, and some people want to put all the blame on Bobby. I think he should have stayed, but he was too upset with what he thought was a slight. Her parents were responsible for the funeral arrangements and the seating, not Bobby Brown. I would have stayed if I were Bobby and did my best to see my daughter.

    TYPOGRAPHICAL CORRECTIONS:
The family had no business treating Bobby Brown the way they did. The same we see in society how fathers a dispensable, like throw away Styrofoam plates. As Jennifer Holiday reluctantly states that Whitney has been doing drugs long before she met Bobby and Bobby states in his book , he never did cocaine until he met Whitney. But we have bought INTO the European way of family values where only the mother counts and the father is but a temporary unimportant part of family which is quite the opposite of African family values and tradition. Women seem to forget that its primarily the men during slavery who bore the physical and violent brunt of slavery, oppression and death. Not to mention the physically back breaking work required out in the fields, the men were lynched, beaten ,burnt and suffered more humiliation than the women even though we give all the credit to the women for keeping the family together. Many may disagree but it is men till this day that’s considered the THREAT because they/we are the guardians of the family , that’s why they target us more , lock us up more and malign us more than they do women hence the few in number we are. Women’s number triple that of men because they get to live their lives out with less of a threat to effect the changes needed for us and our family to freely exist and live in dignity, all of which our women today FAIL to see or recogniIZE. Stay strong Bobby and one day you will get your chance to speak and tell the world the truth about “The Princess” who wasn’t exactly a princess in all her ways , deeds and action. We are hypocrites and so is the church in which we worship AND THE PASTORS THAT LEAD THEM. I too love Whitney but she too, was FAR FROM BEING PERFECT IN WHO WE THINK SHE WAS. We need fathers just as much as we need mothers, neither is more important AND of MORE value than the other. Until we start admitting that we will always have a community BROKEN AND in disarray.

I think that everyone was distraught yesterday and many things may have been misunderstood. The most important thing was that no one get very ill, by such sadness, so things needed to be contained and secured properly. It’s time to rise above it, and look at the tragedy of life and the resolve of it when we remain. It’s not easy being us, but we have much reslience we don’t even realize. There is more good in each of us, and that’s what we must put forward. Good Luck to everyone.

…we can triumph when we try to follow the book of rules and not defy or inflame a situation. Everyone who had contact with Whitney will be devastated in their own personal way. I don’t think anything was intentionally done on either side, b/c going to something as tragic as this is, is not easy at best. Everything is irratating, b/c of the loss we face. Pray that there are no winners, just people who want to make it better and rise above pain and grief with mutual understanding. IMHO.

I hate she is gone and have already said…people make mistakes. I really don’t know who was doing what kind of drugs and when they started, but i do know that in regular people’s lives, they tell us that we are responsible for our “own” actions. I think there is enough blame to go around. This was not the time to try and make anyone a scapegoat. He obviously care enough about her even after death to show up to the funeral knowing that some people weren’t crazy about him. I think what I have learned from this as well as Micheal Jackson is this. Sometimes we don’t know it but it’s probably a blessing to not have money. Do you think Micheal could have gotten the drugs he was taking if he didn’t have 150 grand a month to pay a doctor to give it to him? How many more people would be on cocaine if they had the money to afford it the way some stars do today? So the next time of us are looking at these stars and wishing that were people like Micheal or Whitney…just also wonder….where would both of them be if they were like some of us today?

The bottom line is Whitney is gone.

Their daughter is probably numb by this. If provisions are made for three…so shall it be. Security doesn’t need to fumble about with things that are not followed through…IMHO…

Bobby was given great respect by being invited, and that was the ultimate kindness and reflection on what people do, though they are half dead themselves with grief. One would only have to go through this to know.

Bobby didn’t follow instructions. No one would invite him, then intentionally hurt him in front of his child. He will have what she is able to give…

His lack of following the seating was already misjudged by him. Let’s not put out a fire when there was none on the family’s part, and then others start it by inuendo. What will be will be with his daughter…She is fragile as is her grandmother, and those of the fallen angel, who wanted to be perfect…who sang her heart out.

I wouldn’t want my father to be hurt, but I would understand if my father didn’t follow the foremat. It was a celebration of life and a chapter of it being closed on earth toward accepting, what we cannot change…death. We may prolong it, avoid it with near death situations, etc. But, we must respect those who nurtured her, and did a thousand deaths with every mishap.

Whitney loved life, Jesus, singing, and was bubbly all through her sadness that tempted her. Whomever is to blame, is for her Lord’s court. No one disrespected him, he must have felt that way, b/c he felt out of place in light of all that happened in their lives.

There would be no comfort level by not even following the first directive. Maybe this all happened for the best. He may be more distraught than one knows, but he is alive…and has a chance to redeem himself.

It was a wonderful Tributed to Whitney…may she RIP…and may the days ahead be kind for her Mom and daughter and all who care for her. God Bless them all… This is not easy. Amen.

Those who spoke and sang did so from the bottom of their hearts…And life continues with the beautiful Whitney, gone, but still here.

It’s amazing to me how soooo many people know soooo much about intimate details of the private life of Whitney. Her feelings and thoughts, her daughter’s feelings and thoughts, Bobby’s feelings and thoughts. There is a time for intelligent speculation, I personally don’t think this is it. A couple of years ago, I lost my 19 year old son to a tragic murder. I did not welcome then, nor do I welcome now, unfounded, mis-informed, ignorant speculation surrounding his death. I love him and miss him terribly, that is all that matters to me.
I am quite sure, the people who were closest to Whitney, the people who really loved Whitney, feel much the same. It would be so considerate, and so appropriate if all others would just shut the F___k Up. !!!!!!!

He made Whitney into a crackhead zombie to control her and whatever money and good like he was able to take from her. And after using her up, he dropped her like a drug dealer dropping a broke crackhead. Whitney’s brother was a drug addict also….I guess that was Bobby Brown’s fault too? Bottom line is Whitney was still friendly with Bobby and if she wasn’t mad at him why should anyone else be? The way he was treated was deplorable. He didn’t roll up with his boys from the club, he came with his children who also loved Whitney and wanted to pay their respects. When Bobby’s parents passed away Whitney was in attendance so the Houston’s should have extended the same courtesy. Like it or not they are family and had every right to be there….more so than Oprah and Tyler Perry. Cissy Houston bought the drama to Bobby and thankfully he behaved with class.

Not only the Winans but other celebrities also brought extra people with them as well. I just feel that Bobbi Kris needed all of her family today, especially her dad and her brothers and sisters. According to Whitney Houston in her candid interview with Oprah before she died…Bobby was very inconsistant in his dealings with Bobbi Kristina…He would say he was coming and he’d never show. He would say he was gonna do things for her and he never did. In fact it was Bobbi Kristina who told her mother to leave Bobby Brown because she saw her mother was as a woman (honest/caring) vs how he was as a man (the complete opposite. He caused Bobbi Kristina ALOT of pain.

Some of you are making the mistake I made as a youth, “Judging Christianity by those who profess to be Christians”. That attitude only delayed by eventually acceptance of Jesus as my Lord and Savior. If you want to judge Christianity, judge it by the Bible, not by ministers, priests, your mom or dad, or any other human being, because “there is none perfect but ONE”. All of “us” fall short, even though we make valiant attempts at being “followers of Christ”. Even the Apostle Paul once supposedly said, and I’m paraphrasing, “The things I should do, I don’t; and, the things that I shouldn’t be doing, I often find myself doing”. Jesus realized our inevitable inability to always do what is right by stating, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do”.

I am appalled, and agree with Bobby that Whitney would have never wanted it that way. She had a bond with Bobby and his children. When I saw the footage today of his young son breaking down outside of the church, it broke my heart. My mom and I got into a bit of a debate over my disdain for our Black congregations in this country that have no place in their heart for what they find displeasing. Earl is right — Whitney’s drug use had nothing to do with Bobby. She was a known drug user before him. Were they good for each other? Who’s to say? They made their daughter together and in the name of love. Bobby Brown is owed an apology.

Wow some people should not throw stones and think some people are just taking this story out of context. It is a day to honor an angel and allow her to rest in peace. Funerals are for the living to give them closure. No one had a right to make Bobby Brown feel uncomfortable this was a woman that his shared his heart with. Many people wants to blame him for her drug use. How can people say this, Whitney did things her way. And they went there own ways in 2007 and here it is 2012 and she still was doing things her way. Stop the finger pointing and start the praying that Bobby Brown and his daughter can over come all of this. People tend to find it easy to say what some body have caused some one to do; but the fact of the matter is they both were grown and they both had a problem. This is not their battle or the publics. This battle is the Lord’s. Yes we hate to see some one fall but if they do we as humans should not place blame. Start understanding all things happen for a reason and move on. It was sad how he has been treated and if he brought nine people so what. He had other children who was also close to Whitney, So if every one love Whitney like they say they do than start showing it. She would have not wanted things to be this way. Creating bad blood is not good for no one. So people please just lift everyone up in prayer that they can one day over come this. We all have made decisions and this was one of them. He will never see her again, hold her, or talk to her. By doing what the family has done will never bring her back so whats the point. This was his final chance to say his last I love you and good byes. He is human and he do have feelings to. Do on to others as they do on to you. How can any of these people ever give him back his last chance. Sorry will never fixed this, so please be careful of your actions. Much Love To Everyone and Peace.

@Warren I agree! Bobby Brown was arrogant today; just as arrogant, jealous and embarassing as he was while married to Whitney!
I think it is important for individuals (men & women) to enter into relationships with their eyes wide open. Don’t “fall” in love…just Love! Recognize the signs of a Toxic Relationship. And identified, the only antidote is….Termination! Terminate the relationship…because “love don’t hurt”…not physically & not emotionally!
I pray that Cissy Houston & other strong women of the family will be capable of steering Kristina to the path of Joy, Accomplishment, Community Assistance & Love. The legacy & estate Whitney left to Kristina can do a lot of good in her life…with the right guidance.
May God continue to keep her safe & blessed.

Daddy Bobby has said and done many ugly things that Bobbi Kris will never forget. Whitney was her mother and her angel. I too am praying that Dionne, Pat, Kim, Cece, etc will embrace Ms. Cissy and Bobbi Kristina with the powerful love and sisterhood that they felt for Whitney.

I am also mindful of the importance of the role of strong, stable and compassionate males in the life of a young girl/woman. There is a need for balance.

It is non of our business what happens and did not happen we all need to pray for the family. Bobby being asked to move by security not the family and being asked to move is not saying leave so nobody told him to leave if they told me to sit in the back I would because it is not about me it is about my child and being there for her

Jackie you took the words right out of my mouth. Bobbie clearly said SECURITY asked him to move three times. And anyone who has ever been to a funeral (black especially)knows that during a funeral and a mother has lost a child SHE is not directing anyone to do anything. She can barely sit up straight let alone figure out who is sitting where.(I know because I am black and have been to many a funeral) Ushers and/or in this case security, take care of those types issues so the family is not disturbed out of respect for their grieving. And as far as this thing with an enterouge is amazing. The media always screws up the info at others expense. I saw the funeral from beginning to end and 4 extra people must have been in the trunk. We saw 5 people..Bobbie, his brother and 3 kids who were all close to Whitney. These are the same kids who were on the show Being Bobby Brown. ..Just a bit older now.So stop blaming the mother. She was in another space during this ceremony.. Now I’m done with that.

Well we should pray for both of them. The other six people should have just offered to move to another seat after all that was their step mother’s funneral. He needed to hear the wonderful things that were said about Whitney. To stay and find a seat and not cause a scene is the high road after all it was not about Bobby. He took the low road because his conscience is bothering him, he will never have a good nights sleep!

“OMG” I am just going to give it as honestly & raw as it deserves to be given, “NOW” . The tribute to “GODS DAUGHTER” going home left me speechless, filled up, with all day tears of joy as well as sadness. I felt that this was Whitney’s Day. Some, (all of the Winans Family members), seemed to have forgotten this for their own personal up-staging. There was no need for them to all come up and line the podium with their family! This stuck out to me like a misplaced thumb!

I have never been touched as much by anyone, as I was truly touched today watching her tribute! I was reunited with my faith in the one who made us who we are; Jesus Christ! I believe our sister Whitney was used as a vessel to remind us all whose we are, and to bring the masses back to our Lord& Savior. As for Bobby, stay strong, keep strong, good people around you at all times, and be a good father. Whitney’s Jewell, Bobbi Christina, girl you are blessed by generations of good, strong women. Soak it up, and bathe in your mothers love every day of your life! To Mom, you completed your task as a mother, so don’t be sad. Remember, our children have only been loaned to us for a moment in life, they belong to the father!

I wish provisions would have been made for he and his family as she was once “their” family too. Bobby is not responsible for her addiction. I applaud him for attempting an attendance to honor his ex-wife. Sometimes we have to lay our feelings aside and embrace a larger picture for the good of all involved; I pray for the family and I pray for Bobby. I don’t judge or pretend to know the inside story. If Cissy was different and probably not influenced by a MINISTER she would NOT have invited him. He has not seen nor called his daughter since the death of her mother. And no mention with wide media coverage that she has tried to contact him. That says a lot. It takes more than a sperm donor to be a father or a man. He would have been a better person had he not entered the church. What decent person brings NINE people, not invited to a service that is by invitation ONLY. What that young lady has seen and endured with his presence is unconsiouable. Why would a mother want to invite unless influenced, a male who beat her child and spit in her daughter’s face. And this and other things were done in presence of daughter. And why should security take him to see his daughter ???? This activity is OK during a wake but not during a funeral. Who raised him or failed to raise him. I guess he is now performing at Foxwood Gambling Casino by now.

I think Ms. Cissy weighed the impact of not inviting Bobby and not doing so, considered the pain that she knew he caused her daugher and tried to do the right thing. Yes, with the influence of ministers. She’s due much respect because she loved Whitney unconditionally and she fought valiantly to pull her from the clutches of drugs. I believe she was hampered, at times, by Whitney, Bobby and the vultures.

There has to be nothing worse than watching someone that you love so dearly self-destruct and being powerless to stop it. Or to believe that they are pulling through only to lose them in the end. Whitney was her baby girl.

She said to me later that the look of disappointment on my face was what made her quit! My point is this we can either effect people for better or for worse. Yes Whitney made choices before she met Bobby, but the question still remains was he a force for growth and positivity in her life? Only Bobby Brown can really answer that honestly. All I can say is this the results are not that pretty!! I pray that Bobby finds a way to be their for his daughter. He can now be a force for positivity for Bobby Christina. Well said and meaningful…all of it…and yes, can we influence someone’s life so they are protected…We can try. Mother’s carry a child for nine months. They have a bonding long before the birth. Some fathers are the greatest Dads. Mother’s the greatest matriarchs when something happens to the children, they are there working, cooking, cleaning and showing a strong impession of a broken heart and spirit. Men and Women should be respected…The opertive word is *respect* without it, we are all worthless. Men with tender hearts, can also be stronger physically. Women who are emotionally strong, are by nature. Doesn’t mean they cannot lift something heavy and fall apart at the seams. When each gender realizes each is important and wonderful on their own and together with someone, they will not enjoy what was given. This should not be a competition of who is better–just for the sake of it. IMHO…

          Makar,

I’m married as well(17 1/2 yrs). I can tell you from experience that we make decisions. I hate Whitney is gone as well, but just because Bobby is still here, that doesn’t mean we can now turn and say he did it or question how much responsibility he had in it. The fact is as someone said earlier, she chose Bobby over a million other men that wanted her. She made that choice just as she made the choice to do anything else she did. I wondered as I’m sure many of you did back then…”what the h**l does she want with him”…but again…we all have made questionable decisions. Micheal Jackson made some and it cost him his life. Alyia(sp) as well. It’s not different. Their decisions are magnifide but at the end of the day, they are just like you and I. I think that is great that your wife made the decision to stop doing drugs because she loved you, but it was “her” decision. You couldn’t make her stop. I honestly don’t know what day she started doing drugs and I don’t know if Bobby put the first drugs she had in her hand. The fact is though that she made the decision to do them when she did do them. How many people have gone to jail for things they did and tried to tell the judge…”He made me do it”. We all know that doesn’t hold water in the court of law. Why should it apply now?

This is a shocking death. We never know all sides initially, as we don’t always want our feelings known. They wanted Bobby to be about drama today and it just so happens they brought the drama to him. Those kids were her step children at one point. They had a relationship with her and should have been able to pay respects to her. I can see where he was put at a disadvantage. On one hand he wanted to be there for his daughter and on the other hand his kids were grieving too. He didn’t have to leave but they wanted them to, so he just left to avoid drama. I wish people would stop being hypocrites and stop blaming him for something he had no control over. It was wrong no matter how you look at it.

We can all day talk about how he was done wrong, but he went against what the rules were for him. They had a max they could let in. He is the ex husband. We can have a debate on whether or not the Houston family should have allowed all 9 people in but right now….He was wrong for trying to go against what was clearly told to him. If I were security, I would’ve stopped them at the door and asked which 3 are going in. The mistake they made was letting them all in.

He addressed them making him move 3 times but he never addressed how many people he brought versus how many he was told he could bring. “if” that was the case, that was inconsiderate of him. He as no one else there were above the rules. I thought they did him a favor by telling him he was allowed 3 people. On another note though. I don’t think it was his job to be around as she was dying. I read where their divorce was final in 2007. He did make his share of mistakes in their marriage, but at the end of the day, We all have to accept responsibility for our own actions. Unfortunately, that includes Whitney. She was a grown woman and willingly took part in a lot of things. I think sometimes someone is so talented that we sit back and think about it and just wonder….How? My personal answer is she was human. She and Bobby as all of us make mistakes. We will all miss her, but I don’t think at this point, us judging Bobby is the total answer. We all need to pray for their family as we are praying for our own.

As crazy as it sounds, some of us are in a better place than that entire family. some people just lost their meal ticket, some lost a friend a parent and some lost a family member. Many of us are still fortunate enough not to have had to put our parents or our children or sibling in the ground. I consider that a blessing that no amount of money can and will ever be able to buy. So lets cherish her life and at the same time, try to give respect to Bobby as well as the rest of that family by not tearing them down for the mistakes that they may have made.

Money doesn’t enhance one’s core values, intelligence, spirituality nor does it increase someone’s closeness to God. In many ways money can be deemed as the root of all evil & can cause your family members to be your worst enemy.

This world isn’t perfect, never has been & never will be. Everyone needs to know that God is love, forgiving, omnipresent & he gave us all minds to make decisions on whether to do the right thing or to the contrary. We reap what we sow, regardless of how much material success we have. God always has the final answer because our lives are in his hands… None of us in this part of the globe are living under “normal” circumstances which accounts for why we often make bad “choices.”

I understand accomodating confirmed guest but I would have instructed security to accomodate Bobby and his children who are Christina’s brothers and sisters and not move them. I would not have left the service because again it was better for the children to be there for their sister than to satisfy Bobby’s ego and protest by leaving. Emotions run very high in situations like this. Believe me I know personally how high emotions can run. Calm, level heads can overcome this. Couldn’t have said it better myself. We don’t really know what is going on inside this family and it is not shocking but irritating to see all of these speculations and comments as if YOU can take the higher road.

You can’t say that Whitney wouldn’t have wanted this, BB could be saying what needs to be said the media to look like a victim.

If BK wanted to see her father, she is 18 doesn’t she have a mouth and a will?

Just asking.. why would you bring all of your kids to the funeral? Obviously the family didn’t want him there. Plain and simple. If he knew that he should have stayed home.

Just saying. We never know what really goes on behind the scenes and more people ought to take the approach of ‘NOT KNOWING’ instead of whipping out their holier than though judgmental flags, talking like they know God.

      Just saying.

You said it right. I was so glad that her mother decided to have that funeral the way she did. People just want to make a spectacle of the situation. Funerals should be reserved for the family and “friends”. I did enjoy hearing some of the personal stories some of them told like Kevin Costner. I have a new level of respect for him knowing he told them needed to wait another year to do that film to allow Whitney to do that role she did. It gave us an insight to what kind of person she was when she wasn’t dazzling us with her beauty and her voice. We could see through the speakers that when she wasn’t singing, she was human. She had problems just like we do. Some of our problems are “how are we going to pay the water bill”….”do I put 20 in the gas tank and try to make it to the end of the week and use the rest for food?”. Hers were magnified whatever they may be. Do you know how many families have a problems with a family member and end up turning them away from a funeral or similiar incidents and we never hear about it. Lets not make too big of a deal on this and judge ‘everyone’ that was in the church. Most people in there were about as clueless as we were as to why they did what they did to Bobby. Whatever the case, I was glad to see him handle it the way he did with cameras rolling. His actions in and of itself said that he did care for Whitney. there are a few people who can really answer as to why they did what they did, but I wouldn’t hold “all” christians that happen to be in the church resposible..

What is done is done! Here’s the news that is not widely circulated. Bobby Brown was provided seating for three but had more than three persons in his party. The immediate family had to be seated as well. After all, he is the ex-husband. I shall Not judge or fall for misrepresentation of the truth without accuracy. This has been a difficult ordeal for the family and others directly involved. PEACE BE STILL!

An earlier rumor spreaded like misinformation does, that the family did not invite Mr. Brown to ex-wife, Mrs. Houston finally service; however, that rumor proved to be false. Some statements excerbate the horrific, problematic, unfortunate circumstance of events. I post my comment with caution. This is a painful real life experience for the family, other love ones and fans. For those who have experienced the transition of a loved one, you can attest, grief is painful without an uttered word from anyone.

Peace to all the parties involved and prayer for an agreeable resolve. Ironically, durin’ this African American Emphasis, (aka Black History Month)history was made in many ways. All the best… Many were apart of it.

BTW… It’s my opinion Don Lemon certainly attempted to cast doubt to earn his $$$ on the eve of Ms. Whitney Houston funeral service! Oh how soon do we forget. Although he is not alone. I believe responsible journalistic reportin’ is more acceptable, than tabloid “I got more dirt than you”, to promote self. What a sad commentary.

The best time to honor someone is when they are alive. He took the high road and left if that helps the family deal, then so be it. Whitney’s last time on this earth was her last consciousness before dying. Who and what she was thinking about, will remain a mystery ; on the contrary, those who are alive can still make peace as best they could with each other.

My mom died a few weeks before I graduated high school. My dad pulls me to the side one day in a one on one conversation and said ” I’ll never get married again, there is nobody like your mom”.  I was only 18, my mom meant the world to me and it could not have happened at a more crucial time in my life. Although I said to my dad ” ok”  my thoughts were who cares what you do now that she is dead: she can’t feel any pain or hurt. Loved my mom to death, but some how I knew God is a God of love and would not have my mom floating around looking at her kids and husband and us being tortured by the ways of the world as she is not able to bring comfort. I truly hope, this family can spread love and live in peace inspite of this tragic loss of a daughter, mom, loved one, family member, friend, employer. Peace to all-
    “I Rest In Peace”

Appreciate my love while my heart beats it
Show me your beauty while my eyes see it
Let me experience warmth while I can feel it
For in death, I can not accept or can I give it

If not before, I rest in peace

It’s a sad day when a father is not allowed to be there for his daughter in her time of need. For a child to lose a parent and then the other parent be denied to comefort and console – it’s just horrific. How can you say that you are a Christian yet be uncaring? The world knows that Whitney loved Bobby Brown – she always stated that he was a good father – yet when he chose to truly be there for his child – he was denied. Everyone sat in that church saying Amen Amenn – yet they were not truly living by the word of God. God says to forgive, no matter what, to forgive and during that time he should have been allowed to be there for his daughter, if he was not allowed to sit next to Bobbi Kristina, he should have been in the first three rows with the family – if he did bring his other children, it was because they all loved Whitney, she was a part of their fathers life for over 10 years…Whitney was a loving spirit – her spirit shined in everything that she did and everyone that she touched – what type of example is being set for Bobbi Kristina when it comes to the word forgive, yet no one – absolutely no one, showed that to Bobby Brown. Regardless of what anyone thinks or how anyone feels, he will always be connected to that family because of the child he shares with Whitney – everyone must also remember that if it weren’t for the love the Whitney and Bobby shared they wouldn’t have a part of Whitney at all – Bobbi Kristina is the continuous link to Whitney Houston and they have Bobby Brown to thank for that. Rest in Peace Whitney Houston – God loved you so much he called you home…soar Whitney – soar.

Is it possible that Bobbi Kris did not want to see him? She is 18, after all. If she had said “I want to see my daddy,” I’m sure they would not have denied her that. I heard she didn’t have all that good a relationship with her dad.

Whitney stated in her interview w. Oprah back in 2009 that it was her daughter that told her to divorce Bobby. Bobbi Kristina was seeing & hearing rpts of his many infidelities. Whitney stated that Bobbi Kris talked about how he always failed to follow thru on his promises to her. He would tell his daughter that he was coming to see her & he wouldn’t. He would promise her things & then never follow thru. Further, he hasn’t been around for his daughter since he & Whitney separated, then divorced. He quickly went on about his business & got engaged to someone else, fathering another child w. her. I agree that Bobbi Kris is at an age to choose for herself whether or not she wants to see her father. I feel that if she had requested to see him & be w. him that that request would have been granted by Whitney’s family, despite their dislike for him w. very good reason. It’s not about Bobby Brown anymore. It never was, as far as I’m concerned. Too many times he’s shown himself to be a jerk & an a*s, w. an ego too big for his own good. And now that Whitney has passed, he will be even more insignificant. Here again, he shows up & makes a stir at his ex wife’s funeral! He should have just arrived early & quietly, stayed in the background, paid his respects & then left. NO CLASS! He is still trying to upstage Whitney, even in death. I have no sympathy whatsoever for him.

With regards to this article, all anyone can do that responded thereof, is speculate being that if they weren’t in the mist of the people that made the decision to do “this or that,” on any given subject matter, you really do not know the TRUTH unless you were a witness. In other words, 7 people can give there own individual opinions towards a chain of events, story, etc. but there’s only one TRUTH. God will make a way for him to be with her again, I will keep them in my prayers that her heart will be touched with God’s love and she will reach out to her dad. God is love and wants us to forgive, no one can change that he is her father. LARRY…
You are full of negative deciet. Watch out those shoes don’t fall on your feet. I’m sick of people making Bobby Brown responsible for Whitney’s choices in life, especially when Whitney was snorting coke way before she hooked up with Bobby Brown. Whitney lived out her life how she saw fit, so back off other peoples business. You ain’t judge and jury either, but you can easily be on the witness stand. Whitney and Bobby was all a part of God’s plan. Forget the “proper way!” The proper way is of Man! The unexpected and the improper, the unconventional and untraditional, the unorthodox and unceremonious, contrary to Man’s natural expectation, this is the way God usually works! “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, said the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts!” (Isaiah 55:8,9). Who can know the mind of the Lord, and who can show Him anything? (See 1 Corinthians 2:16.)

Who do we think we are, anyway, to tell God what to do and how to do it? God knows what He’s doing and it’s none of our business how He does it! So we ought to quit trying to tell God how He ought to do things! “Now Lord, You must do it this way or that way, so we’ll be accepted and people will understand.” Forget about people who don’t understand! Your friends don’t need an explanation, and your enemies would never believe it anyhow! So why explain? Just trust God that He knows what He’s doing! “Trust in the Lord with all your heart: and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5,6).

I totally agree! Bobby’s a camera hog & always looking for attn for himself. I don’t blame him totally for Whitney’s struggles, because everyone has a responsibility for their own choices / decisions, but he definitely was a major contributor to her downfall, & for that he’ll never be forgiven by many many ppl. He was sooooooooo jealous & insecure about her successes & far superior talents that he did all he could to demean her & make her look & feel small. That fiasco of a show Being Bobby Brown was a perfect example of this, which showed them both in the worse light possible; more so Whitney who is a legend /icon. He couldn’t even get a green light for that show unless he agreed to get her involved, which further tarnished her image. The worst decision Whitney ever made, along w. her choice to ever use drugs in the first place, was to marry Bobby. Those two really really really bad choices on her part, I think, led to her early death. RIP Whitney, The Voice! You are so missed!

The bible tells us specifically that Light and darkness DO NOT occupy the same place at the same time. So if there were evil things manifesting amongst the people there, the Spirit of the Most High God wudnt be there. “The Holy Spirit and the devil CANNOT occupy the same place at the same time”….

          WHAT…is that??

Did not “JESUS” CHOOSE the Sinners houses over the Saints??

Now…what we think you’re trying to refer to is…2 Corinthians 6:14….

” Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

The key words…(to what you’re speaking of) are “Yoked…Fellowship…&..Communion” !!

          NONE of that happened @ WEH Service….Pastor Winans,Bishop Jakes….didn’t do NONE of that..but..what DID happen.was..Matt 18:20…

“For where two or three gather in my name, there I am in the midst.”….

Now…THAT’S what happened…& THAT’S how the “HOLY SPIRIT” came in!!

In her DEATH…Whitney did her Most EVANGELISTIC Work…Ever….she shared the “HOLY GHOST” w/the WORLD….(although, that’s NOT what God had planned for)!!

Now,if you’re fixn to Marry,…join a Church that does not Worship the Father,Son & Holy Spirit…and/or….Sealing Covenants w/Non Believers…..Those things are NOT of God..and in-which Your statement would be “On-Point”….

But, just the Anointing that is “On” Pastor Winans,Bishop Jakes,Pastor Kim Burrell,
Tyler Perry and others….was MORE THAN ENOUGH…to bring JESUS in da Midst…..as a matter of fact…that was enough to bring “REVIVAL in da LAND”…Glory to HIS Name!!

Now,let us just PRAY…that the FIRE that was LIT….let it continue to “BURN the… “REFINERS…FIRE”…in those that are not “ALL the WAY…IN”…and/or those that are Sinners/Non-Believers!!

          THEN….we (BELIEVERS)…can TAKE this World…One Soul…. @ a time…In JESUS Mighty Name…..

Yes he and Whitney have a child together and their families will always have a connection but again its not about him! Yes those were Whitney’s step children and yet again, its not about them! Yes it was unfortunate that consideration and accomodations were not made for Bobby and his children but for the love and respect of God and Whitey the higher road was to stay and not leave because it was not about him!!!!! If that means you have to stand that’s what you do. When I lost my mother I remember my father asking me and my brother and sister “what do you need me to do? and afte her services he said thank you and how proud he was of us and that while he and my mother didn’t work out, them having us was the best thing they did togehter and he loved us!” My heart hurts for Bobbi Kristina because she has lost her mom and then not to have her father there for her mom’s homegoing brings tears to my eyes! And nothing and nobody could have separated me from my child and he should not have let that happen to him. Security or not…I would not have left the building. First, what did Bobby’s invitation state–three or nine? Second, there is an assumption made that Bobbi Kristina wanted to see her father yesterday. Without talking to her, we do not know. She might not have even wanted to see him yesterday. Third, what time should he have been there to take his three seats, which I understand were situated close to Bobbi Kristina? He arrived woefully late, and then with six extra uninvited guests, according to reports.

I listened to a local pastor who attended the services. He stated that security was extremely tight — after all, you had the governor of the state and the mayor of Newark in the audience. The hearse had various kinds of escorts by law enforcement. The pastor stated that even Secret Service might have been present (don’t know why). In sum, security was extremely tight. Cissy extended three invitations to Bobby–for his girl friend and their child, I suppose. Therefore, the security was expecting three. To show up with even one person more than three–not to mention nine–was completely out of order, disrespectful to the memory of his ex-wife (despite his verbal assertions) and maligned the reputation of his ex-wife’s mother, who extended the number of invitations that she deemed appropriate, which also happened to be fair. If he wanted to connect with Bobbi Kristina, seeing as how he did not have the decency to arrive when requested, he could have attended the repast and take his numerous other children with him.

We have to stop listening to news reports without asking questions and don’t be so quick to mar the reputation of a woman who lost her only daughter and presided over a homegoing service that was exceptionally well done and reached the world with the gospel.

Bobby, I do fear, is being disingenuous and manipulative, and is not taking responsibility for his irresponsible behavior, which violated protocol by showing up late with an excessive number of uninvited guests.

So its ok that Bobby gets 3 invitations while 20 members of the Winans family was there. Smh…Bobby’s kids are Bobbi Kristina’s brothers and sisters, they are not allowed to comfort their sister?? No matter how the family felt about Bobby, his kids were apart of Whitney’s life as well, and I am sure they loved her too…its a shame that Whitney’s families feelings toward Bobbi played in a part him not being able to even comfort his daughter…they knew he wanted to see here which is why security prevented it…who does that mess!!!Why would she not want to see her father after losing her mother???

r77-Bobbi Kris is old enough to make her own decisions-If she wanted to be with her dad no one
would have been able to keep them apart

It was Whitney’s family’s right to make the decision as to who got invited to THEIR loved one’s funeral svc.; not mine, not yours, certainly not Bobby’s! He should have followed orders just like everyone else. If he was given three invites, he should have abided by that. There is no love lost between Whitney’s family & Bobby Brown, & for good reason. Once again, he thinks its all about him! He showed absolutely no respect for either his late wife’s memory or his daughter. Always the jackass!

I felt the same way you felt Mechell. I hope when all of this is over at some point Ms. Houston will let Bobby know she was sorry for what happened to him and his children who were also or had been a part of Whitney’s life. If she is a christian woman she knows that God wants us to forgive and most of all not judge.None of us are perfect and we all have a story or some baggage. And as long as we are on this earth none of us will be perfect. So in the spirit of being christ like I know Ms. Houston will do the right thing.

Mechell well said. Whitney loved Bobby Brown, she was famous in her own right, who are we to tell her who she should love, they produced a beautiful child together. I really don’t understand people making him the bad guy, when they are both equal,God doesn’t like Ugly and that’s how many people are acting.

God this and God that. Some of you here use God in the way that you talk about your neighbor. What does God have to do with Whitney, Bobby Brown and Bobbi Kristina……? I guess some of you here, will also say, that it’s God design, to encourage Bobbi Kristina to continue to use drugs and run wild….

Mechell..Thank you for expression. It was well said. My thought is:
It was reported by the Media about Bobby attending the service from the Houston Family. Why was it an issue? I do believe that Bobbi Cristina wanted him there, that’s why the change to invite him.(?) So, I’m glad that her father, brothers and sister were in attendance. They showed their love and respect for Whitney and were there to be supportive of Bobbi Cristina. I do understand why they left, though. His entourage:(with craziness in this world, Did he feel threatened? He’s been
blamed for some things…) The ushers/church did do good in handling the situation.

We all need to stop passing judgement on an issue we know nothing about. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. There are so many opinions based on hearsay and no concrete facts. Stay out of others business and handle your own affairs.
