And they say that there’s no more authentic black leadership…..
Anyone who was in doubt about the quality of black leadership today need only see the crowning of Bishop Eddie Long as King. In a ceremony fit for a pimp, Bishop Eddie Long was given a scroll, a WWE wrestling belt and a bunch of other artificial trinkets that led him to being crowned by some guy who obviously doesn’t care that this so-called “man of God” might be a child molester.
To make the scene even more dramatic, Long was then lifted up and carried around the room like royalty, with the cheer of the congregation in the background. Looking as proud and happy as the Homecoming Queen, Long accepted his new-found anointing as gracefully as one could imagine.
Like most of black America, I sat watching the video with my chin hanging down to my kneecaps, wondering what kind of psychotic kool-aid was being given to the people cheering for Long in the audience. The New Birth Missionary Baptist Cult, I mean church, has officially proven to the world that they are not only willing to look past their leader’s “little indiscretions,” they are actually willing to elevate and praise him for it. Jesus would be just so proud.
I have no idea what the nature of this ceremony was, and all of the pastors that I’ve asked have no clue what the Rabbi was doing. So, in a contrived and ridiculous display of gluttonous self-righteousness, Long has embarrassed his church even more than any of us thought would be possible.
I feel terribly sorry for Bishop Eddie Long. His strong stances against homosexuality obviously showed that there is a part of himself that he absolutely detests. I feel sorry for his wife, who likely knew about her husband’s deviant ways long before they’d been revealed to the public. I feel sorry for his congregation, who has yet to learn that a man who sleeps with vulnerable children might not be the best person to guide you into the afterlife.
But mostly, I feel sorry for those poor boys who trusted Bishop Long with their lives and their innocence. It hurts my heart that they looked at him like a father, only to find that he was just a dirty old man seeking to use his penis at every available opportunity. I hate the fact that the adults around them were so busy worshipping their charismatic leader that they forgot to care about their young. So, if it appears that I have a personal vendetta against Eddie Long, the answer is “yes.” When children give you their trust and you use it to your selfish advantage, you are serving as the human lifeblood of Satan himself.

When I saw the Eddie Long coronation, I said to myself, “What the HELLLL!!!! Even the devil is saying “What the HELL!!! I feel the young people. I feel for themebers of New Birth. I believe that if it’s not already a cult, it soon will be. It puts me in the mind of the Jim Jones situation as well as heaven’s gate. I believe that if any believer have a friend or family member that goes to New Birth, it is our responsibility to at least try to open up their eyes with scripture. Once we share the information with them and they still remain, we need to pray real hard. We don’t need another koolaid drinking disaster. Again, I say, “What the HELLLL!!!!

His wife who seems to be a lovely lady, left him- a man who stands before thousands to proclaim the goodness of God and he cannot get am Amen from his best friend. This woman is not leaving a loving devoted, obedient to God Vhristian man” unless she is insane! I think you are wasting your time feeling sorry for those people. The are just as bad as he is, as they says birds of a feather flock together. I am not hating on Eddie Long, I am just tire of the hypocracy coming fro the churches. God make everyone of us and he know who we are. So for anyone to judge is amazing to me. I try to seek the truth, and the more the truth is reveal to me. It is the less I believe that the bible is the word of God, but words of men who have ego and want to control our lives.Most people do not take notice, but all these christian nations persue voilence as the solution to all our problems. They invade small nation and promote voilence against them and carry out voilence against them directly. The never attack nations that may have the means to defend themselves. The attack the ones who do not have the military might to fight back.They kill their leaders and act as if they have done something great for humanity, when the book that they said they follow says thou shalt not kill. You see they follow the Old Testement, never the New Testement. I do not know what is right or what is wrong, but I know that the way we are going is not the way to find solution to our problems.Let Eddie Long, answer to God, and those boys know what they were doing, so dont blame Eddie Long alone many people in the church knew what was going on and they condone. Some maybe for money. Even Berince King, she knew what was happening. I trust her less that anyone else because she is using her fathers reputation to exploit others.
I am not a christian neither do I want to become one because I am not a believer in the doctrine of the bible.

I can see how you have come to your conclusions. I urge you not to make the same mistake by looking to OR at mortal men for Ultimate Truth. I agree that it is unfortunate how most “Christians” act, and deplorable how some behave. But, God has always had a remnant that loves Him above all, and seeks to obey and please Him. Please read/study and seek God for yourself. Don’t spend an eternity without your Maker because of men. Satan is working in all He can to discredit God. Do not believe his lies. For instance, if you really check it out, you may find that the more accurate translation of, “You shall not kill,” is “You shall not murder.” God is about destroying evil. For in His Kingdom, there is no evil….else Heaven would still be like earth. Hell was created for the devil and his angels, not for the true sons of God. God loves what He created. He hates evil. And, please remember: It is written: “Broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are that go therein. Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, and few there are who find it.”(that was from memory and make not be exact) I deplore the shame that has come to the church through Mr. Long, and all who name The Name, but do their own thing. I pray that the True Spirit of the One Good and True Living God draws you to seek Him in Truth with your whole heart.

Brainwashed is the first word that comes to mind as I read this article. God has a special place in the universe for people like Long, a man who I won’t refer to with any biblical title. ON the serious side of it all, it’s not about feeling sorry for the followers but for the Bishop that thought GOD would turn away from his wicked ways of transgressions. We’ve only heard about the recent young people that came forward to face the scrutiny of the nay-sayers of the truth. We can only imagine the young people that are still too ashamed and won’t come forth due to the psychological impact Bishop Eddie Long has caused them.

Oh! Oh! Oh! This carnival goes way back to slavery and the way black people were taught warped Christianity! It left many blacks as gullible as children. And black people love pageantry regardless, of if it’s in bad taste or not.
This, black people, is what thinking black people are up against. There are a lot of black people still there drinking the Kool-Aid, even after this phedophile’s wife divorced him.

I am not surprised by this behavior because I have a full understanding of what it means to be a true believer. The enemy is here to destroy and kill. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. And knowing that as a believer it is our mandate to obey Abba. When our brothers and sisters fall we are to stand in the gap and pray to our Father for them not persecute them. We all need to pray and ask Him to change our mindset in these end days and more importantly cleanse our hearts so we are in a position to minister to each other when we see another believer heading the wrong direction. Yeshua says love. And He didnt say onlylove thosewho visibly doing right by God in the public. If you without sin cast the first stone. No one can do that, lets learn from this situation so that deliverance can begin. The world is watching us (believers) tear each other down and most importantly God see this happening and He is frowning on us treating each other like this.Not only that, we are causing those who are in the world to not accept our Savior which is against God’s plan for us. Wow who do that sound like, the Adversary’s plan to destroy us.

In order to understand whaat tok place in the video you really would have to understand the jewish faith. They believe that we all are kings and the Lord is in everyone of us. from my own personal understanding of faith and religion I (and so have many of you) have seeked questions regarding certain passages of the bible and Biblical events only to be told “it is not for you to understand” or “only God knows that” or some other lame excuse of the clergy not to give an answer instead of saying “I don’t know but I will find out for you” Many of them do not know and would rather keep you in the darkness as well. this is one of the reasons that so many of us (blacks in America) have turned to Islam.
The truth of the matter is that the Bible has been translated to and from so many languages there is bound to be many misinterpretations which were simple keep going by the faithful who never questioned anything.
One example: Why do we celebrate Jesus birthday in the winter when he was born in the spring?
answer: It was a combination of a pagan holiday that ushered in the the coming winter.
Another example: What do eggs and rabbits have to do with the resurection of Christ?
answer: Nothing, once again eggs and rabbits are part of pagan celebration of fertility. But yet we still buy easter eggs and pet stores sell thousands of rabbits year.
Why are’nt our clerymen and women telling their people these things? Why because many of them don’t know. It was up until the last 30 or so years ago that many blacks churches started taking down their pictures of white Jesus

You know what is just as sad? This is not only a mockery of Christian faith the debacle is not related to any practice in the Jewish faith either. Apparently , like all man made religions, this was a sampling of different traditions to come up with the spectacle that we saw in the video. The Jewish community is just as upset about the video as Christians are. John Messer is a mess and is just as despicable for his part in the Long debacle. I pray that they both repent before they lead this congregation straight to hell like the pied piper!

Do you believe that there is a difference between a child and a 18-19 year old man? A child can be bullied and manipulated into doing things that they are made to believe is right. A young man whose motives that are questionable at the least should not be looked at in the same manner.
I’m not passing judgement on rather he did it or not, but it garnered media attention simply because of who he is and the position that he holds. Tell me if he was some random guy in the streets that had an affair with 19 year old men would there still be an uproar?

ICDATRUTH… I am not sure if you are real or not. You may be a person trolling sites and stirring up controversy. However, if you are real you need to recon on the fact that you and others like you are why people see Christianity as a farce. It is because when someone is obviously out of line like this you are willing to defend them at all cost! No wonder any critical thinking person listening at your explanation would look at the church and see a bunch of passive, amen happy people who are afraid to speak up and say as the little boy did “this emperor has no clothes on!” We will never be considered valid as long as we are unwilling to say, “This” or “That was obviously wrong.” Even if we won’t totally condemn a person, which I believe is the correct way to be, we should be able to say that same person was in the wrong for what they did, if in fact they were. To hide behind a title or position as making a person immune from scrutiny undermines the holiness of God. There IS no more respect of person… The playing field is level and as such this Long is a brother, not a king. As such, I can tell my brother he needs to admit his mistakes and go on to be healed.

I assure you that I’m for real and that I was not trolling, I was simply explaining what was going on in the video. This was something that Dr Boyce openly admitted that he did not know what was going on. The other thing, I was not defending Eddie Long in any way what so ever. If he did do the things that he was accused of he should be punished, but from a legal stand point he di dnothing wrong since they were all were of legal consent. I’m not a juror nor judge and I don’t easily fall into whatever the media wants me to believe either. I have listen to Rabbi Messer before and he had done the same thing with various other pastors throughout the country, but because of the stigma that is over Mr Long it was made into a national debate.
As for your statement of the laughabilty of christenity, look at the remarks made by some of the readers and many of them are Christians! The purpose of the ceremony was for Mr Long to accept messionic (sp) judaism and to be forgiven for past aggressions. My own personal opinion is that Christians are the most manipulated group of people in this country. The GOP tells them what they want to hear in order to get their vores and than ignores them. The vast majority of them vote based on moral issues that are derived from the “word of God” which is based upon who is reading it. Black churches are constantly preyed upon by outside forces with mortage scams to pyramid schemes to nursing home ripoffs. Why is this? because many of them (not all) are older uneducated people that only have their faith in God to lead them. If their pastor is not educated or financially swift and grants permission to this predators we all pay. I think that Mr Long needs is forgiveness if not only for what he is accused of doing, but for being in that situation in the first place.

I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes we put so much attention on the abuser that we forget the victims. I recently had a conversation with someone about the Penn State incident. This person was going on about how Joe Paterno was the “wrong guy” being prosecuted in the public media. I immediately got upset because I’m like people get on my nerves protecting this man or anyone who had any knowledge of this kid being molested. So what he lost his job, his reputation, some friends, he deserved to lose that, but what about the kid. That kid is going to be messed up for a long time if they don’t get counseling and how do you ever heal from that? So who gives a flying fart about what Joe, Bishop Long and the others lost, it will never compare to the pain those kids have dealt and dealing with.

Okay… I am a Christian. This message is to the church folk who will read this article by Boyce Watkins, not just those who are willing to defend this kind of behavior but also to those who find this incident to be deplorable. The time has come for us to stop being timid and speak out!!
Some would like to isolate this incident to a few bad apples but this kind of man worship is totally widespread in the church. I believe that most churches engage in some level of PASTOR WORSHIP. In fact, I believe that folk would throw Jesus out of their church service if he came in and spoke against their pastor! These men and women have been allowed to exist in a state of almost complete lack of scrutiny. They cannot be questioned or opposed without the questioner being highly ostracized for their unwillingness to go along. For this reason not only do we have this kind of mess with Long, we also have passivity, lack of individuality (group think), and cultism at its highest!!
One simple solution would be to realize that singular leadership (meaning one senior pastor congregations) has not worked! It is time to admit it. This idea of a senior pastor was never biblical and is a function of the Catholic church anyway. In almost every congregation we do in fact have little kings, as was ironically displayed in the Eddie Long scene above. Plural leadership (meaning more than one elder functioning with equal authority together) would go a long way toward helping. I mean completely independent people (preferably no less than 3 with no relatives included) coming together and submitting to one another as leaders in a congregation would remove a lot or this singular personality cultism. This would be ONLY one step, in a need for many, that would help.

This recent fiasco of Long’s will surpass his pedifile project and will surely be the catilyst to bring him to his knees. He paid a lot of money to NOT admit his wrong doing. This time, there is no escaping it.
I had to chuckle when you said that Jesus himself would be reprimanded if he were to come to some of these churches and talk about the ‘Passah’ I was funny because it had such a ring of Truth, The very thing that blind congregations don’t want to hear.

I am trying to wrap my conflicted and complex mind around this. I am trying to understand what makes this man believe that this is okay. I am trying to determine why some other man is ‘crowning’ a man who by every measure is a pathetic representation of God’s creation. I am also trying desperately to figure out why this so called Bishop’s church remains packed. Who are these people that have committed themselves to New Birth, and who have obviously made a man…a despicable man…into a modern day Jesus. This a classic example of man Worship! These people worship this beast like he is of God when in fact he is everything God dislikes. His arrogance is worst than all the Pharaohs of the Hebrew Story Book Bible. That of course was worthy of a death sentence within the story book, the arrogance The condemnation to death was not for Pharaoh it was received and endured by his son. Interesting…as I free type…Get this: Those people clapping and taking part in this foolishness may just be the receivers of DEATH…as Pharaoh’s son received. God left him to live without…He lost his son, and his wife no longer respected him. She wanted and romantically longed for a true man of God, Moses! So there it is…The Hermeneutic Transfer: Eddie will live on and those applauding, and still participating in his sham for a church will die. If they are not already dead…Yeah! They are dead already! Dead in every way possible! In their efforts to be Christlike they are destroying their souls. I am so embarrassed! Me truly deplore the madness that black people partake in and receive! Wow, Boyce you dropped the ball this time! Not only did you not investigate to find out what the hell that you were looking at you made complete assinine comments in order to mislead your readers.
For the record this was a ceremony of Bishop Eddie Long’s acceptance of judiasm. Many of you do not know that Hebrews believe that this is the year that mesanic jews (lost tribes of Isreal) will come together. This ceremony is part of that. Ironically if Bishop Long had done this when he was instructed to, he would not have gotten into all of the trouble that he did
Now back to you Boyce, You make alot of fuss about what the republicans say/do based on misinformation or at least very little of ANY information. I suggest that before you make any comments on something that you really do not understand you should find out the facts before you start writing. There should be no need of your readers to be ignorant based upon your own opinion.

You did even take time to even read what Dr Joyce wrote, he clearly stated that “I have no idea what the nature of this ceremony was, and all of the pastors that I’ve asked have no clue what the Rabbi was doing” Most Christians pastors would have no idea about a Jewish ceremony anyway.
So if the originator of the article (Dr Boyce) did not have a full understanding of what was going on and he wrote it, how could someone like yourself have a clue if you are getting it secondhand?

Sorry Precious… That is not going to fly, Read Colossians 3:25. There is way too much respect of person in the church. I accept this man as my brother, even though he may have fallen, my brother he remains. But do not expect for me to have some weird cultist honor for him. If he has or is willing to be restored, praise God! But I am not afraid to look at this spectacle and say “give me a break.” We have gotten ridiculous with this! Something was wrong in my mind when I saw a man wearing skin tight body shirts while preaching God’s word. Look all flesh will fail so as the bible say’s in Psalm 146:3 that’s what we must do.
Yes we serve a merciful God, but it is time for us to speak up when something looks off, and this does!!

In my youth, I’d tried to talk with male pastors about my salvation and too many times they’d made inappropriate sexual comments instead of any kind of assistance. One was a regular visitor at my home while I was becoming a young adult. All of them were married and one had even married my husband and I! All I could think was they didn’t care about me. When I heard one of those young men say the same thing, “Wow he doesn’t care about me.” I knew he was telling the truth.
Seems like the bishop(sic) needs to remember O Jay and go sit down somewhere. Whatever is going on is so unlike GOD.

I guess you missed the point. I did not watch the video and was not aware that he was accepting Judaism. Not stating that he should not accept Judaism. I really do understand what you are saying but it would’nt have done any good. Once you have been label as such there is no hiding for no period of time. the best way to deal with such accusations is head-on and get on with your life. BTW the “boys” that have been labeled as children were of legal age and they should take as much responsibilty as the Pastor. They knew exactly what they were doing from the begining and knew what they could get out of it.

Like I said before, I look at them as I would look at a young girl trying to get close to a wealthy man, rather you like or not there is no difference between them. If he did do it he should be condemned, but that is not my call I have enough probelms of my own. As far as his congregation is concerned, I have spoke to many of them and they made me realize onre thing, they look at him a messeger of the word of God and not God himself. Eddie Long is still a man, a flawed man but a man neverless and still should have a chance at redemption.
Your comparison to a woman in short skirts is way off base. Why? A woman wearing a short shirt has no control over the events that may follow. The situation with Mr Long and the young men knew what they were doing.
I will make even more understandable, when you were 19 years old could anyone get you to do something that you really did not want to do? Especially anything to do with sex?

When did I say that? I do recall saying that they were not children and here in the state of Georgia they were of legal consent. I did say that I did not care if people THOUGHT that he was guilty or not, since I’m not here to pass judgement but to explain the video.
These young men KNEW what they were getting into from the start, don’t get it twisted. I look at them no different then I would look at a young (legal) lady trying to get next to a wealthy and powerful man…there is no difference between them.

I believe that if you listen with your spirit, and not your own personal opinions and prejudice, you will understand what this Jewish leader was doing, it’s called restoration. Sometimes when I read Dr. Boyce’s OPINION of certain situations in our society, I think that he is sadly misinformed, and it reminds me why titles are just that, titles. God says that vengeance is His,and He has NEVER needed our help in this arena. The bible says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. If we apply the (a) part of this text to our own lives, then you will see that we all deserve death, but thank God for the (b) clause! It’s time that Black America, and America as a whole return to their roots, Christ. I can assure you that in the month of Black History, it was not these types of reports that helped us to get over, it was God Almighty!

Such venom directed at a Man of God is my ticket to unsubscribe from this gossip rag. A Man can be flawed–deeply flawed–and still be a Man of God anointed by God for His own purposes. The Bible and history is filled with such men and women.
But to sit and make such final and venemous judgments as a professed Christian based on all of the assumptions this writer makes in favor of this guy’s accusers and against this Pastor is beyond the pale for me. Levi, The problem here is that no one is observing the Word of God… There are measures that should be taken when a brother is overtaken in a fault according to the bible. But I am with many who have voice their opinion on this thread. At the least Bro. Long should sit down… maybe for good I don’t know. But if he is wrong no human can vindicate him. If he is innocent God can certainly vindicate him if he chooses to! However, God gave us wisdom and there are too many references in the word that require believers to deal with matters. Not for the purpose of condemning but for restoring. We are terrified of dealing with anything! One cannot be restored until there has been confession/repentance. I pray for this brother that he not be lost!

You are absolutely right! Christians, unlike the jewish faith are quick to devour their own without even investigating the facts. I’m very familiar with the Longfellows and how they help many wayward kids get their lives together. I will be the first to admit that I do not know what actually happened, but I did think that some shady things came up when this first broke.
1. Eddie Long has many enemies, as do all powerful men, but what suprised me was that the majority of them were other pastors and christians. there was one that had aspirations of replacing him at New Birth.
2. Did anyone noticed that all of this happened right before the gubertorial election here in Georgia? His endorsement would have made a considerable change in the election. So it just made me curious as to why at this time that they decided to go “public” if though this supposely had been going on for some time.
Now I’m not making excuses nor defending him in anyway, because he did put himself into a position to be questioned in the first place. My other question is why are some of them talking eventhough they were paid not to?

I could not agree with you more. The bible does reference that a pastor who has done wrong must be silenced. It is obvious Mr. Long is not practicing what comes directly from the Bible. I ask myself many times, if Mr.Long had sex acts with these innocent young american men it would lead me to think, if he did it in America, he has done this around the world with other young boys where he has traveled. Those voices most likely will not be heard. Mr. Long has a problem and only God will deal and correct his horrific deeds.

And, perhaps those reading may find some time to read up on Nebuchadnezzar. He was arrogant. He was controlling. This is indeed true, I guess this is the reason that I feel that a curse has been placed on our people. The generational curse of financial ignorance, sexual promiscuty, and cultural confusion. Many of us don’t know who we are or where we have been and our place in world history. It has been proven that we have the spending power of many large countries, but instead of pooling our resources together we are “pimped” by the Koreans with haircare products, South Americans with drugs, Europeans with fashion designs which are made by third world countries and our own government through a racist judical system.

In the case of King ding a ling (Eddie Long) he has laid down with a religion that teaches fear and double standards as a way of life. He has also, gotten out of their beds continues to perpetuate the Willie Lynch way to deal with his own people all in the name of sex and money.
Mr. or he/she King ding a ling spent his time worshiping with homosexuals in the name of god. Then he desisted his homosexuality and when he could not contain himself any longer he turned to young boys who looked up to him. This man should have face great consequences for his actions.

The leaders of organized religion themselves have a belief that they must be on a higher blueprint than their followers or why? Else would god put them in teaching/leadership rolls?. Okay. And he’s the king of??? First of all, it seems that everything this fellow tries to do, ends up backfiring on him. So, in the end, he ends looking worse with each attempt to redeem himself. It’s very explicitly written in the Bible about what the Lord is going to do those folks who use the pulpit to lead people astray. To that end, I feel nothing but pity for Mr. Long. While this church may have started with a noble principle of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ,(which didn’t classify it as a cult at first), it quickly veered of course when they began elevating this man to the level of Christ Himself. What it will take is a complete leveling of the whole movement before it can turn around. Btw: I don’t know what this “being anointed a king” is all about. Last time I checked, America was a democracy, not a monarchy.

I was taught that there are no coincidences in the Universe. To watch the Making of Bishop Long a King video, I had to sit through an advertisement for “the Darkness,” a video game coming soon–resplendent with demons and representations of evil. The ad was fitting and a great mirror to what the press and every condemning person is doing to the Kingdom of God. A frontal assault–a standoff with demons. I must admit that I did laugh when I saw the “ceremony” because I guess you have to have been there to respond some other way. Here’s the thing though: God really is in control. He is sovereign. He reigns whether we admit or see it or not. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m going before the Lord with trembling and fear working out my own soul salvation. Pray for the lost, downtrodden, backslider, drug addicts, alcoholics, the traumatized, victimized, and don’t forget to pray for yourself. No one is perfect, least of all you. Recall the “forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors” part of the praying Jesus advised us to do. We quickly indite people to become debtors to us, unbeknownst to them and proceed to punish them for an offense incidental to our own. God is perfecting believers even until His coming. Regarding King Long, Long live the King!

Try to dig a little deeper people. Don’t just take that book to heart because grandma and grand pa did. Do some homework please. We have been lied to. I’ve Been a christian all my life and now I’m pist because after looking a little deeper into history (way before Martin). I realize that we’ve been made fools of. I beleive this religous thing was all a ploy for money, power and control and a lot of these pastors are very much awake and aware of what’s going on but the money is to good for them to come out with the truth( Big Business). The only way to become awake and aware is to study your history from the begining. Go back check out African religion from the begining of time.Find out how christianity was even developed and why and all the changes that were made by the catholic church for money, money, money. I have read all 40 comments, and I understand how everyone feels. The simple fact is that Ole Eddie is deflecting, when he should just be quiet and let things die down. There is one truth about people who seek the spot light…they don’t know when to stop. Each episode gets larger and larger until they are seen as stupid. Ole Eddie reached that point this past weekend. I will pray for him, the congregation of New Birth and those poor misguided souls that participated in that whatever it was this past weekend. Don’t hate the misguided, pray for them and remember, God is in control. He already has a solution, we should just watch and pray. Be Blessed.

All I will say is: “God will not be mocked”!!! Our walk with God; and, our King and Queenship in God is a Spiritual one, which is Holy Spirit-led. Prancing around the church, uplifted by men is not a display of God’s Will-but of man’s. Whenever a man of God is exposed for his wrongdoing, he get people who will remain in his corner to convince everyone else that he is still who he started out as. But, once you have fallen; you are down. And, not that you are to remain down; but, don’t try having people lift you back up onto the throne of God; because only God can occupy that seat. The man-made throne is just that–”Man-made”. But, God will speak loud and clear from His throne that “My Word will not come back unto me void; but, will accomplish that which I please”…. When we have strayed from God’s Word/Will, we must “work” our way back to that anointed place where we initially worked our way to in the first place. You don’t fall from grace, then put yourself back into God’s graces. God grants us His grace because of our faith in, and obedience to His Word. We fall down; but, God lifts us back up–man couldn’t, when we were called to serve; and, man still cannot once we have fallen. This whole walk is a God-relationship one. The best thing for us all to learn is how to get out of God’s way when one of our bretheren is being dealt with, by God. When the sickle is swinging, those in the midst will also be stricken.
