The 911 call about BOBBI KRIS’ run-in with the law was just released.  The incident happened last April in a parking lot in an Atlanta suburb at 4:00 a.m.  She was handcuffed by police and charged with “possession of alcohol.”  The brawl erupted over Bobbi Kris’ relationship with then boyfriend Zach Jafarzadeh.  Nicholas Gordon (who was unofficially adopted by WHITNEY HOUSTON when he was 12), was charged with “pointing a handgun at another person.”  Gordon is very close to Bobbi Kris, they live together in Houston’s Atlanta home and are rumored to now be engaged.  Jafarzadeh has admitted that he sold pictures to the National Enquirer of Bobbi Kris snorting lines of cocaine, which is said to be the cause of the altercation.  Bobbi Kris’ blood level was reported as “slightly above the legal limit for a minor in Georgia.”  Bobbi Kris and Gordon were handcuffed but not arrested, they were both issued citations, which were later dismissed.  CISSY HOUSTON is reportedly outraged about their relationship and family members are concerned that Gordon is taking advantage of her for his own financial gain.

A report by Forbes.com has exposed Raffles van Exel, a friend and confidante of the Houston family, as the person that took the infamous photo of WHITNEY HOUSTON in her casket and sold it to The National Enquirer.  One of the staff members at the funeral home “witnessed Raffles van Exel take the picture.”  Van Exel is described as a Hollywood con man.  Calls and emails to Van Exel have gone  unreturned.  A video he recently made explaining “how to become a Hollywood Star by breaking the rules” can be seen at this website:   http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerfriedman/2012/03/14/whitney-houston-national-enquirer-death-photo-who-took-it-sold-it/.

Us Weekly reported that HALLE BERRY is getting married for a third time to OLIVIER MARTINEZ.  The French actor confirmed the reports while promoting his new South Beach restaurant Villa Azur.  “Yes, it’s true,” he told The Miami Herald.  Berry has been sporting a sparkling diamond and emerald engagement ring.  Berry and Martinez, both 45, have been dating since fall 2010.  She’s been married twice, to baseball player DAVID JUSTICE and R&B singer ERIC BENET.  She had a daughter, Nahla now 3, with model ex-boyfriend GABRIEL AUBRY.  Her relationships with all of them were troubled….Berry once admitted that she attempted suicide three years after marrying Justice.

BEYONCÉ is committed to CLINT EASTWOOD’s revival of A Star Is Born.  According to Variety, Warner Bros is courting TOM CRUISE to play the male lead.  Although discussions are still at a very early stage, Cruise is apparently interested, and keen to get the chance to finally work with Eastwood.  A sticking point could be Cruise’s schedule, as he is already committed to an untitled sci-fi project with Joseph Konoski and Doug Liman’s All You Need Is Kill.  Production on the film has already been delayed due to Beyonce’s pregnancy.

Football Star DEION SANDERS is teaming up with Producer TRACEY EDMONDS for a new reality show.  Sanders is building a charter school, and he wants to show his life as a single dad.  Sanders wants to be known for the good that he is doing and not the nasty divorce he is going through with his current wife Pilar.  Pilar has accused Edmonds, the former wife of Babyface and former fiancee of Eddie Murphy, of having an affair with Sanders, which has been denied by both Edmonds & Sanders.

TMZ reports that USHER says there is no way he is going to foot the bill so his ex-wife Tameka Foster can pay for her legal battle against him…this according to new documents filed in their ongoing nasty custody battle.  He has already paid $25,000 for her lawyers’ fees, and now she is looking for an additional $50,000.  Usher finds that request absurd… saying in court documents filed earlier this month that “Tameka has consistently defied court orders and filed frivolous motions,” like the one trying to force him to take a drug test.  Bottom line…Usher feels Tameka’s actions “directly harm the best interests of the minor children.  Clearly, such actions should not be tolerated, much less rewarded.”   A judge has yet to rule.

FANTASIA, who recently gave birth to a baby boy named Dallas, was hoping to get money for the exclusive first baby photos.  But, because of the scandal she is involved in (having the child by a married man), there were no takers.  Friends of the baby’s father Antwaun Cook, say that he is secretly trying to reconcile with his wife Paula Cook.  Also a North Carolina church wants to have a talk with Fantasia and her manager Brian Dickens who was reportedly given a check for $15,000 for Fantasia to perform at the church.  She never performed, and Dickens never gave back the money.

Singers LIONEL RICHIE, KELLY CLARKSON, ROBIN THICKE and JENNIFER NETTLES will headline ABC’s new music competition show Duets which debuts this summer.  They will search across America for their protégé, ultimately choosing two singers who will perform duets with them each week on the program.  Richie is also being inducted into the Apollo Theatre Hall of Fame this summer, along with the late ETTA JAMES.

RUBEN STUDDARD is dropping a new album called Letters From Birmingham.  Studdard  is no longer with his wife of three years Surata Zuri McCants.  Studdard, who met McCants at an Alabama Wal-Mart Superstore in 2006 while signing autographs, tied the knot with her in June of 2008.  He cited “irreconcilable differences” on his divorce papers.  Studdard is working out his tax troubles and is trying to lose the weight he regained…..which he blames on “eating out and stress.”

In a recent interview with HOWARD STERN, LEAH REMINI finally revealed why she thinks that she and HOLLY ROBINSON PEETE were fired from the CBS show The Talk.  She stated that SHARON OSBOURNE thought that she and Holly were “too ghetto for the show and didn’t know their place.”  Leah also said that SHERYL UNDERWOOD would probably not last past this season, because “Osborne always looks at her with disgust.”  Osbourne denies Remini’s claims.

TAMAR BRAXTON, the breakout star on the Braxton Family Values TV show is getting a new reality show with her husband VINCENT HERBERT.  The spinoff will show her as a successful wife embarking on her solo career.  She just signed a record deal to do a solo album.  Her husband Vince was recently released from a NY hospital where he was treated for a condition called pulmonary embolism, or blood clots in the lungs.  The entertainment executive who is a writer, producer and the founder of Streamline Records  has worked with artists such as LADY GAGA, TONI BRAXTON, DESTINY’S CHILD AND AALIYAH among other top names.

IYANLA VAN ZANDT is getting her own show on OPRAH’s cable network OWN.  Fix My Life  debuts later this year on the heels of news that OPRAH has cancelled ROSIE O’DONNELL’s show because of low ratings.  The Daily Beast  reports that Rosie frequently lost her temper and even publicly humiliated long time members of Oprah’s staff.

RAVEN-SYMONÉ best known for her Disney hit That’s So Raven and for getting her start on The Cosby Show is headed to Broadway.  She will be joining the cast of Sister Act starring in the lead role.  Raven started on Broadway with The Boys Choir of Harlem at the age of five.

In more Broadway news, BLAIR UNDERWOOD makes his debut on The Great White Way playing the role of Stanley Kowalski in A Street Car Named Desire,  to be directed by EMILY MANN and scheduled to premiere in April 2012.  The cast also includes NICOLE ARI PARKER, DAPHNE RUBIN-VEGA and WOOD HARRIS.

HEAVY D is still being hounded, even in death, by the IRS for back taxes.  The popular rapper died in October of last year while he was working on a comeback.  It is said that the IRS will likely get the $44,000 he owes, from his estate.

ANGELA BASSETT and JULIAN McMAHON are in final negotiations to star in FOX’s untitled KARYN USHER drama.  The program focuses on Jane Forsythe, a 14-year-old orphan of a CIA operative who finds a surrogate father in McMahon’s rogue agent.  Bassett will play the shrewd political CIA Director who also takes Jane under her wing.

ROLAND MARTIN returns to CNN after a long suspension following tweets he made during the Superbowl that were called homophobic.  The GLADD organization came down hard on him, but they have since met and had discussions.  CNN subsequently suspended him for his comments.  Martin is known for his candid off-the-cuff remarks, so look forward to seeing a lot of him during the Presidential run for the White House.
