Just the emotion of the defeat. Serena Williams has been playing remarkable tennis. How disappointing for her to lose in the first round. First time for her. Serena is the best champion in the world of female tennis. Slight setback…she will be okay.

I wouldn’t describe what I saw on the video as anything remotely resembling “a major meltdown.” I saw the reaction of disappointment, by what is arguably the greatest woman tennis player to ever play the game, after losing in the first round of a tournament that she previously owned. What did you expect her to do after losing to an unranked opponent, dance a jig at center court? Cheap journalism at best.

And Melle Mb, Serena lost a tennis tournament, she didn’t just announce her retirement from the game. Your comments sound like a postmortem. She’s entitled to have an occasional bad day at the office, just like anyone else, without the insinuation that God has decided to end her tennis career.
