Serena Williams experienced a bit of a breakdown after she was defeated in the first round by an unranked competitor.
Serena Williams lost 6-4. 6-7, 3-6 in the first round of the French Open to unseeded Virginie Razzano. The loss marks her first ever in the first round of a Grand Slam.
In the tiebreak for the second set, Serena had a 5-1 lead but let Razzano came back to win the tiebreak 7-5.
Razzanno then left the court for a bathroom break, and Serena began to weep.

Just the emotion of the defeat. Serena Williams has been playing remarkable tennis. How disappointing for her to lose in the first round. First time for her. Serena is the best champion in the world of female tennis. Slight setback…she will be okay.

A “Great Sportsperson” knows how to take defeat. Obviously, ole girl ain’t feelin’ that. Maybe if she tried being humble, stop trying to be all those other things she’s not, her game would come back.

I wouldn’t describe what I saw on the video as anything remotely resembling “a major meltdown.” I saw the reaction of disappointment, by what is arguably the greatest woman tennis player to ever play the game, after losing in the first round of a tournament that she previously owned. What did you expect her to do after losing to an unranked opponent, dance a jig at center court? Cheap journalism at best.
And Melle Mb, Serena lost a tennis tournament, she didn’t just announce her retirement from the game. Your comments sound like a postmortem. She’s entitled to have an occasional bad day at the office, just like anyone else, without the insinuation that God has decided to end her tennis career.

conspiracy, serena and her sister are the best females to play the game. As soon as they started trying to fit in the so called “white” world they started falling. They both married so called “white” men now they game is off. smh
