When Geralda Rivera said that Trayvon Martin was partially responsible for his own murder because he wore “thug” clothes, he was saying what only saying what most Zimmerman supporters have been thinking all along, but refuse to say aloud. It is awfully sad, and unfair, that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and white boys and men who look like him, can dawn a hoodie whenever they like, and never be considered a threat. This is not about hoodies or “thug” clothes, but the color of the men wearing the clothes. It’s about freedom. Everything else is excuse making.
To the Zimmerman supporters who say this has nothing to do with race, take a look at this photoshopped image that’s making the rounds on Facebook and Twitter. Tell me that you’d be still be supporting Zimmerman if the tables were turned. Would you still be donating $1,000 per day to Zimmerman’s support fund if he resembled the image on the right? And for once, be honest with yourself:

If the table were turned, we would only have a brief blurb about it on the news. Jessie and Al would not have even bothered to make the trip to Florida and it would been quietly swept under the rug. After all, only white people are racist, remember?

No one would be discussing the case because it wouldn’t have made national news.

The “other shoes” Photshopped image is a stroke of sheer genius! Whoever did it needs to be commended, and I wish I would’ve done it, but I’m not that good with Photoshop.Yet.
Geraldo’s doing the O.J. thing again. Remember back in the ’9s when he had his daytime talk show, and almost every day he featured something on O.J.? I got sick of him, Gloria Allred, Kato Kaelin and the rest of the crew.
Now, he’s sensationalizing this y saying that Trayvon was in error when he wore a hoodie. Really, ‘L’laldo? Really?

Trayvon would never have gotten a trial, let alone a fair one. He’d have been convicted on hearsay alone, as was Troy Davis. They wouldn’t have needed a weapon, evidence, or credible witnesses…just some white person saying they “saw” him do it. Wouldn’t have mattered whether he did it or not.

He would be executed to the fullest, if the tables were turned.

Oh man. A black guy shooting a white kid? They are putting him under the prison. In addition, they would’ve arrested him and everyone else who was with him that is black the night of incident

Those supporters definitely wouldn’t feel the same if Zimmerman was a black man. They always try and make people believe that race has nothing to do with anything that happens in Amerikkka, but they can’t trick me into believing that or anything.

there is no what if….if it was black on black it would be a non story to some people…most of the time when it white on black folks would have kept on walking fortunately the story caught hold and grew legs a month after the fact….i prefer to think what if the story stayed untold!!!!….right now stuff is being spent in the media to muddy the waters for potential jurors in Florida….what happens when Zimmerman get off….he will!!!!…remember we are talking about the Justus system….the parents of Trayvon lost him and he aint coming back thats the real tragedy regardless of what happens to zimmerman….
