“I’m Coming Home”: Arsenio Hall Announces New Late Night CBS Show

Donald Trump may not be a favorite in the black community right now because of birtherism, but his show, Celebrity Apprentice, has paid off for 90′s late night host  Arsenio Hall, who told Piers Morgan last night that he’s signed a contract with CBS to host another late night show.

The show, set to begin airing fall 2013, will air at the same time as the old Arsenio Hall Show.

Hall thanked Morgan for allowing him to substitute for him on Piers Morgan Tonight, and for giving him one good piece of advice about Celebrity Apprentice. Morgan told him to “read everything about Mr. Trump.”

“You have no idea how many times in a boardroom or a situation of business crisis I was able to throw a quote of his at him,” Hall explained, “he would look at me and say ‘this brother is ready!’ I had my birth certificate, too.”

It’s funny. Aubrey Oday called Arsenio a washed-up has been on Celebrity Apprentice. This man stayed home to raise his son by choice for well over a decade, and when he was ready, walked back in the game with enough juice to greenlight a series of media products, including his own tv show. He also whooped her behind on Celebrity Apprentice. She will never learn, I guess whose a bonafied celebrity and who is a want-to-be looking for a way to get put on. Maybe, instead of insulting the man, the smart thing would have been to get on his good side. She might have gotten a guest spot on this has-beens new show. Go Arsenio. I like the way you did your thing.
