Miami Heat star Chris Bosh was told this week by a judge that he’s not going to be able to take his little girl with him to the Olympics this summer. Bosh applied for permission to take his daughter with him, but it was shot down quickly by the courts. The Olympics are going to be held in London, but the child’s mother, Allison Mathis, is fighting him because she’s worried about terrorism.
There is no indication on why the judge ruled against Bosh, but it’s clear that it’s a no-go.
Bosh has been fighting with Mathis for custody and parenting rights since the baby Trinity was born. Last February, Bosh asked the judge to let him see his daughter and to hold her mother in contempt for disallowing him to see his child. He said that he was only able to spend 22 hours with his daughter for the entire month of February.
Mathison says that Bosh’s playing schedule gets in the way of his time to spend with his child. The judge challenged both of them, by saying, ”Life passes you by waiting for lawyers and cases to resolve. Meanwhile, the world continues.”
Bosh has also filed motions to keep Allison off the television show, “Basketball Wives.”
