Maxwell Tour Cancelled Due to ‘Vocal Hemorrhaging’

There is, sadly, a lot less sexy in the air this summer.  Maxwell fans, you may need to sit down for this one, but we regret to inform you that the sultry singer has cancelled his summer mini-tour because of medical problems.

More specifically, the man who makes the ladies swoon has canceled his tour due to vocal swelling and hemorrhaging.

On Friday, a spokesperson for the singer said that Maxwell had been advised by doctors to rest and undergo treatment. Maxwell’s six-date summer mini tour had shows planned in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Newark, N.J.

Refunds will, of course, be made to those who’ve already purchased tickets.
