The recent attacks on Attorney General Eric Holder have led some to charge that Republicans are playing dirty politics with the Obama Administration. What do we make of all this? Is Holder truly in contempt of Congress or are they trying to hang him out to dry?
Dr. Wilmer Leon at Howard University feels that while an election year is going to bring these kinds of political gimmicks, this is especially nasty. Dr. Leon also charges that the attacks are most certainly related to race and that it get in the way of the Obama Administration’s ability to get its job done. Dr. Leon is an expert on Political Science and also teaches classes about the presidency, so his viewpoints are valuable for those who want to hold Obama accountable without being unfair to him.

Yes, this is unfair. The program started with the BUSH ADMIN. They just did not stop it. They only changed the name TO FAST & FURIOUS. The Republicans know this. What is really going ON;they are trying to stop HOLDER from chalengeing to States about VOTER SURPRESSION LAWS . 2ND TRYING TO EMBRASS PRES. OBAMA.

When will Black folks wake up and overstand that caucasians HATE US?
No matter what powerful position a Black man may have, he will still be disrespected, lied on and treated like dirt by his caucasian counterparts!
I was a supervisor for 13 years, so I know what I’m talking about. I had to let those white boys know that I ain’t no push over. Within two weeks, I gained my respect.
Sometimes you have to DEMAND your respect. It will work!

When are black AMERICANS going to realize IT IS NOT about color any more? It is about nationality. Holder is from Barbados. He doesn’t give a d**n that 2500 high powered weapons were passed out in the black community. That’s probably why he didn’t want them traced back to him.
