It’s one thing to be confined to a jail cell. It’s another thing altogether to be t******d. Last week Your Black World reported on how prisoners in Georgia jails were being abused and mistreated. And last week, a Senate panel heard testimony from an exonerated former prisoner about the way in which solitary confinement drives inmates insane. One could also make the case that being shackled while going through the pain of childbirth is also t*****e. That’s what one woman was forced to endure, and now she’s suing:
