Christian/Muslim Conflict in Nigeria Causes Another Bombing and Dozens of Deaths

Dozens of Nigerians have been killed this week by car bombs.  The bombings are believed to be linked to religious differences among the citizens.  The latest in a series of public attacks show that the differences between Christians and Muslims don’t appear to be dying down anytime soon.

Religious fanaticism is keeping Nigeria, an otherwise strong country, from growing economically and fulfilling its potential.

More than 50 people are dead in Kaduna, Nigeria after riots that are believed to be caused by religious differences.

Nigeria is the world’s largest equal mix of Christians and Muslims and the two groups have historically not been able to make peace with each other.
