NYPD in the Spotlight Again: Officer Accused of Having s*x with a Teenage Boy

Not every corrupt NYPD officer is a white guy.  Sometimes, they look like us, talk like us and act like….well, let’s rephrase that.  This officer, Rosandre Burgher, is in hot water, and might be going to prison for a long time.  This is a big fall for someone who once wore the blue uniform of a police officer.

Burgher is being accused of having a consensual relationship with a teenage boy.  So, the age might be the thing that got him.  Being gay is not a crime, and he didn’t appear to take the s*x against the boy’s will, but the boy’s age might be the thing that makes this officer go away for a very long time.  This is the second NYPD policeman in recent months to be indicted on a s****l charge.  Another officer was convicted on a rape charge not too long ago.

Things are not looking good for Rosandre Burgher who was arrested in upstate New York for allegedly having a s*x with a teenage boy. Burgher, who is a NYPD officer with the 46th precinct in the Bronx was arrested on Tuesday.

According to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, although the relationship between 26 year old Burgher and the 16 year old boy was reportedly consensual, the boy called directly into the Internal Affairs Bureau and made allegations in relation to the s****l relationship.
