It seems that President Obama once saw value in working and speaking directly to issues that affect African Americans. Yvette Carnell brings out old video of a speech by Obama as he speaks about the challenges of being black in America. So, some are wondering why Obama hasn’t spoken directly to the struggles of black Americans as job loss in the black community has been higher during his administration than any other in the last 20 years.
The following interview, which originally aired as part of the documentary “Becoming Barack”, provides insight into Obama’s early years. In his own
words, Obama discusses how he registered voters and how he got his start in community organizing.

First of all, you won’t give your real name. That means that you have something to hide. With a name like Lou, you are not black.
I think you are angry and you don’t like yourself. You are probably short, about 5’0 and you probably weigh about 160, so you are short and overweight. And you probably have other shortcommings and physical disappointmens.
You don’t like the president because he is doing a wonderful job despite the republicans. Lou, you wish you were President Obama. That is why you made such a silly statment. You want to be a black man. You don’t like yourself, Lou.

The evidence is clear, he went from having compassion for the socioeconomic well being of African Americans to having none at all… It’s up to us as a people to bring about the change WE rightfully deserve and it’s not a “civil rights” issue it’s solely about “HUMAN RIGHTS!!!” To be “civil” means to be at peace with yourself and with others. All human beings are born peaceful, but when they become exposed to excessive violent behavior repetitiously eventually they begin to emulate what the environment feeds into their psyche. Our “human right” is to have the resources bestowed upon us by the creator to be “independent!” Until the foregoing occurs, we’ll remain hostage to a diabolical system. It’s just that simple…
