Survey: Most Americans Don’t Know Obama is a Christian

You would think that Americans would know by now that President Obama is a Christian, not a Muslim.   Maybe it’s what people want to believe.  But maybe the president also needs to put out a public service announcement saying “I am a Christian, stop accusing me of being a Muslim.”  That also begs the question of what’s wrong with being a Muslim in the first place?

They say that America is one of the dumbest countries in the world.  After seeing this survey, it’s hard to argue.

According to a new Gallup Poll, most Americans don’t know that President Obama is Christian.  In fact, 34 percent of the survey respondents say that Obama is a Christian and the rest either think that he’s affiliated with another faith or say that they simply don’t know.

Among those who responded to the survey, seven percent believe that Obama is a Protestant, and four percent believe he is a Baptist.  Another 11 percent believe he is a Muslim, and 8 percent think he has no religion at all.  The rest have no idea.

Xtianity is JOKE! I have never seen so many negroes, who want to go to ‘heaven’ but scared to die!

By the way, if this diety called god, was the only person on earth; how could the words “HE SAID LET US MAKE MAN”. Any scholar would look at those words and say: If god was by himself, how could the word (US) be used in the creation?

Also, how does man know what “HE SAID”? Were the so-called bible scholars there during the creation?

Going to church doesn’t make you a xtian any more than standing in a garage makes you a mechanic.

    WAKE UP FOLKS!

Barack Obama is a Christian in name only and he’s starting to move away from that profession more and more as he gets assurance of financial support from non-Christian interest groups and groups hostile toward anything to do with historical , biblical, taditional Christianity. It is very important to note that there are far too many indications in his conduct: several speeches here and abroad showing his lack of confidence in scripture and in some cases repudiating it, while in another speech in a very natural accent sermonizes, “The Holy Quaran teaches us…The Holy Quaran teaches us…”, he has always mitigated or skirted the point blank questions about his so called Christian faith such as, “Do you believe in sin, what is sin to you?” “Yes…sin is anything that goes against my values.”

Redefining what it means to acceptably follow Christ when Christ has given clear direction that people must tether their belief in him to what the scripture has said; there is no such thing as being a follower of Christ and repudiating or conveniently re-interpret the standards of his holy book (John 7:38). It sometimes amazes me how Self-identifying Christians do with their holy book what you will never see muslims or other religions do with theirs. Please look at what he does and not what he says–he’s politician for crying out loud. As I observe Christianity in America, I believe those who claim Christ are about to face the biggest test of hostility toward them in the history the U.S. Jesus said he did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it and that trial and persecution are tests or whether a person truly has God’s word in heart (Matt 13; 5:17).

African American Christians, especially black women, will benefit greatly from a deep proving of their beleifs make sure they know why they think Jesus is God (as he claimed to be); learn to defend him and his scriptures. We must progress beyond prioritizing our gifted, talented, and accomplished above God.
