Woman’s Son Killed By Drunk Driver, but She’s Sent a Bill for Cleaning Blood off the Street

The nightmare of dealing with a child’s death is bad enough.  This trauma is only compounded when  the state sends you a massive bill you can’t afford to pay.  This woman was billed for the costs related to her son’s death after he was killed by a drunk driver.  The driver was an illegal immigrant, and she doesn’t understand why the driver wasn’t forced to pay for the charges, since she was at fault.  You have to wonder what kind of quacky laws they have in South Carolina that make this kind of thing acceptable.

Loretta Robinson, a mother in South Carolina, was hit with tragedy when she found out that her son was killed by a drunken driver.  Adding insult to injury, the state has sent her a bill for the cleanup of her son’s blood off the highway.

The incident took place in Greenville,

“I never would have imagined getting that call,” she said, with tears in her eyes. “Never in one million years expected that.”

My heart goes out to this woman. The south continues to show the world just how backwards they are. This president and black leaders are on the wrong side of illegal immigration when they have more rights than American citizens.
