Suspended ‘Politico’ Reporter Joe Williams Had Previously Mentioned Politico’s Racism

Referring to your company’s “shitburger” isn’t likely going to win you any brownie points, especially if your company really does have a shitburger in its pocket. That’s what suspended Politico reporter Joe Williams recently referenced on Twitter, and likely what got him into trouble before he was officially in trouble for remarks made on the air. But Williams was the victim of yet another Right Wing smear campaign, as they turned a set of relatively innocent comments into some kind of national controversy. Like in the case of Shirley Sherrod, the liberals folded, and now Williams is suspended. It’s all becoming the same old game.
