s****l health in the black community is becoming a growing area of alarm for millions of African Americans, especially women. The change in culture is connected to the shift in s****l attitudes, as well as a drop in the numbers of African Americans getting married, increasing the number of s****l partners for both men and women. HPV is real, it’s deadly and its out there, along with other STDs that are linked to death.

We all are here only by the grace of God; so lets continue to ask Him for Mercy, and stop throwing stones and guilt around. Start working on yourself and you wont have time to discuss others. we all gonna have a day of accountability; just be ready.

You don’t have to have many s****l encounters in order to get a sexually transmitted infection.
“How do people get HPV?
HPV is passed on through genital contact, most often during vaginal and a**l s*x. HPV may also be passed on during oral s*x and genital-to-genital contact. HPV can be passed on between straight and same-s*x partners—even when the infected partner has no signs or symptoms.
A person can have HPV even if years have passed since he or she had s****l contact with an infected person. Most infected persons do not realize they are infected or that they are passing the virus on to a s*x partner. It is also possible to get more than one type of HPV.”
I have read on more than one occasion that HPV have led to many cases of throat cancer. Also in the same medical articles it states that many of the cases that doctors were seeing were patients who didn’t smoke and the throat cancer was caused by oral s*x.

In response to Rosemay Davis,
I think that you need to rethink your position on the statement you wrote, because you are absolutely wrong.
Not all Black women sleep around, not all Black women disrespect themselves, like the impression you just gave thousands of people who would read your comment.
I was married for 44 years and never once strayed from my marriage bed, yet;I had several sexually transmitted diseases. Yes! I finally left that horrible marriage, but; this just goes to case and point, why you should correct your generalization of Black women and or our s****l behavior. I have always lived according to the laws and teachings of Islam. Do you know what your husband/man/partner is doing. Sometimes,we trusting women get burned by no fault of our own.

Ms. Rosemary and all the others who used scripture to be smug and judgmental. Please stop! So many of our young folks (and older folks too) have fallen away from the church, because of the venomous pontificating like that you spouted. Perhaps if we ~ the Church, the Saints ~ would show the love, compassion and forgiveness that Jesus modeled, so many in our communities would not be looking to the streets, to fornication and drugs to fill the holes in their hearts and spirits.
My momma said, folks in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones and Jesus said, let the one among you that is sinless cast the first stone. I don’t know ya’ll, but it is written, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” I’m just guessing, but that “all” does include you doesn’t it Ms. Rosemary et al.?
