One of the greatest things about Kanye West is his originality. But that originality has been tossed to the wayside over the past few years, as he has hung from Jay-Z’s testicles in a manner that is not befitting of any true superstar. Kanye has lost his way, going from being the guy who rapped about Jesus to being just another artist who talks about the same silly stuff that every rapper talks about. His remarkable transformation has occurred as he has allowed Jay-Z to take him under his wing, sacrificing some of Kanye’s uniqueness in the process.
A blogger for Reason4Rhymes.com explains:
Kanye made it very clear on the “Big Brother” record he recorded on the album titled Graduation that he is a true fan of Jay-Z. He referenced Jay-Z as his “idol” and the “God of the game” along with many other distinct titles to exude his admiration and respect for his self-proclaimed, “big brother”. I found it quite peculiar for someone as arrogant as Kanye to be so humbled by another man, but I respected him for recording the record and making it known to the world that he loves Jay-Z. As everyone knows, there is a thread-thin line between being a fan and being a fanatic.
