Love him or hate him, Jay-Z is always staying busy. The popular rapper is about to open a 40/40 location in the Nets Center, where his new basketball team will be playing its games in Brooklyn. Jay is one of the owners of the team, and considered to be a front for the billionaires who are calling the shots. The effort has been criticized by some in the community for not hiring enough workers in Brooklyn, particularly African Americans. But if they want to get a shot of liquor before the game, Jigga has that one sewn up.
Reason4Rhymes.com tells more:
June 22—The new Barclays Center, future home of the Brooklyn Nets, will house another enterprise owned by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z: the artist, who has been named director of the company that owns the Center, will be opening a “special” version of his famed 40/40 Club there.
Nets season ticket holders will get first dibs on reservations to the 9,000-square-foot, 350-seat establishment, according to the New York Post—but unlike other VIP bars in the arena, limited only to those who purchase expensive luxury suites, fans of all income brackets will be welcome here. The club will be open only to ticketholders for NBA games, concerts, and other events at the Center.

I was reading an article, which stated that these entertainers, who have a percentage of capitol in these teams and building complexes, they only are giving the rights of these establishments to USE THEIR NAMES.
Will & Jada suppose to ‘own’ a share of the ’76ers, but they really don’t have any ownership of the team, they just have first dibs on all games, seats, drinks and other perks. They don’t have a d**n thing to do with the business part of the team.
Therefore, Jay-z will DOESN’T own any parts of the stadium or team, they just USE him, like the 76ers use Willie Boy and Jada s****h. Just his name will draw a crowd and money.
