Nomalanga: Church of God in Christ Needs to Talk about Gay Marriage in a Different Way

Nomalanga Mhauli-Moses wrote a piece for BlackBlueDog.com focused on the Church of God in Christ and its strong positions on gay marriage.  Moses says that the church needs to have a conversation about gay marriage and Obama that focuses on reality rather than fantasy.  She also says that understanding the strategist in President Obama might help the church to realize what kind of person and politician he actually is.

Church of God in Christ (COGIC), a Pentecostal Holiness Christian denomination with a predominantly African-American membership, has officially spoken out against President Obama’s decision to legalize same-s*x marriage.
