Obama Expected to Be First Sitting President Ever to Be Outspent by His Opponent

There was a time when President Obama was the king of all things fundraising.  That time has gone, since Mitt Romney has used Super Pac money to make himself into the man who might be king.  It’s going to become an ugly presidential campaign and money is going to play a larger role than it has ever played in the past.  Is Obama going to rise to the occasion and reignite his base? It’s hard to tell.   He certainly isn’t getting the donations he was getting in 2008.

The race between Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama looks to be a close one, and it comes right down to the dollar amount.  Every President prior to Obama has spared no dollar in their re-election and as we draw closer to the end of this year it looks like Romney will outspend Obama in his campaigns.
