Remember NBA Star Jayson Williams? He’s Out of Prison and Trying to Improve His Life

Say no to drugs and alcohol.  This is the message that we can all learn about the experience of former NBA superstar Jayson Williams.  Williams was drunk one day and ended up accidentally killing his chauffeur.  As a result, he spent over two years in prison and lost everything he had.  A man who was once on top of the world, Williams is slowly trying to rebuild the pieces.  He is also finding that there are some wrongs that are difficult to make right.

After 26 months behind bars for an accidental shooting that cost Costas Christofi his life, Jayson Williams is out and looking to repent in every way that he can.

Williams is still grieving for Christofi’s family and continues to show his remorse every chance he can for what had happened that night back on February 14^th 2002.  Williams has since quit drinking, a total of 893 days sober and counting, removed all weapons from his house, and even downsized his home.
