All that glitters isn’t gold. This is the testimony of Sean Garrett, the famous singer/song writer who has produced hits for many of the leading recording artists in the country. It turns out that Garrett is being chased down by those old tax collectors who work for Uncle Sam. He owes nearly three-quarters of a million dollars in taxes, and is working to get the debt paid off.

Every April 15th is nationally known as ‘Tax Day’. Although it’s not celebrated as a holiday, everyone who pays into the country knows this day personally and also knows that if you don’t want to owe Uncle Sam, you better file your taxes.
Sean Garrett, famous singer, songwriter and rapper has run into a problem with taxes stemming back as far as 2006. Tired of waiting, the Georgia Department of Revenue ordered BMI Collections to garnish the amount owed. BMI isn’t just some collection agency; it’s well-known for forcing the rich and famous pay their bills, especially those in the music industry such as Garrett.

Hey Cynthia, You are correct in what you are saying. We are taxed to death, for instance we pay Federal Tax, State Tax, City Tax, Property Tax,and on top of that we are assessed to pay for trees and street lights. No wonder some folks feel that it does not pay to work,because Ceaser is going to get his share if you are working.

What’s so ridiculous is there is no Federal Law that says American People have to pay Federal Taxes, only the States have the Right to collect taxes BY LAW, however our government has involuntarily taken money from the American people for ages and continue to do so. This money is not allocated for anything. It pays the TOO HIGH salaries of the government officials, their pensions, health care, travel, living etc while the people they steal from are struggling and hungry. What sense does that make.
I say the American People rally and boycott, start a petition and get a bill for not paying the taxes, thereby making the government officials actually work for what everyone else gets when the median salary in America is $37,000 annually.

You are right Cynthia,100%.Starting a petition is a
great idea and while we are at it lets get the fed
abolished along with it and take America back to where
we are suppose to be.I am not familiar with the procedure, but i am sure millions of people will be
on board.Lets do this
