Serena Williams Vows That She’s Not Done Winning Yet

Serena Williams is one of the greatest athletes in history, we all know that.  But she is also making sure you know another thing:  she isn’t done yet.  This week, her sister Venus was eliminated from Wimbledon in short order, but Serena is making it clear that she is going to keep playing and keep playing strong.

Not only is Serena going to stay with the game, so is her sister Venus.  Both women say that they are “connected at the hip” and have plans to continue to represent their family tradition of producing outstanding, record-setting performances.

Tennis star, Serena Williams says it’s not over

Despite an early and unexpected exit from the French Open in May,  tennis star, Serena Williams says she’s far from done in the world of tennis. Her older sister, Venus still has more to give, too.

”I have no intention of stopping, and I don’t think she does either. We’re definitely connected at the hip,” Serena said. ”I enjoy being out there on the court so much.”

On May 29, Williams took a surprising loss to Virginie Razzano of France who was ranked 111th at the French Open. But she’s back and ready to work for what could be her fifth Wimbledon championship.
