Many within American culture say that blacks are just too sensitive, and that sometimes a banana joke is just a banana joke. They say that it isn’t always about ‘us’ , and by making it about us and internalizing it, we’re creating the problem. Maybe there’s some truth to that, but watching Mike Tyson try to peel a banana with boxing gloves on evoked all sorts of imagery of King Kong, and how black men have been historically derided as apes and savages. Maybe the skit would’ve gone over better had it been, say, a black man much more suave than Tyson. But pairing the former heavyweight champ with a banana does cause one to cringe. Here’s the full story:
Just when you thought Mike Tyson had debased himself enough, you catch him on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live peeling a banana with his boxing gloves on.
On the show, host Andy Cohen convinces ‘Bravo’ reality show personalities to have cocktails with him, and the reality TV personalities are sometimes joined by real celebrities. On this episode, Tyson was paired with some sort of ‘Bravo’ reality show housewife.
And to be fair, Tyson and the housewife both were made to complete strange chores while wearing gloves, but something tells us that banana skit was meant for Mike….

Mike loved it for the laugh and no doubt was been paid handsomely for his appearance on the show,I don’t think anything racist or bad was meant by it-Over in the UK boxers regularly go on kids tv and make fun and sometimes fools of themselves (in the best possible slapstick way) boxing thru cakes,having to make “fruit punch” by crushing fruit to a pulp in boxing gloves,or catching creampies hurled at them to win prizes, its just light entertainment,not anti-black entertainment.The biggest loss was the boxing gloves,they was the $52 a pair gloves and because they got banana-mush on them the tv show just dumped them.Surely they’d be better off signed and given to a charity by Mike.

Well, as long as black folks keep fooling with Jews, who NEVER HAVE and still DO NOT care for us blacks, other than to make big money off of us, and make big fools out of us, it is going to continue. Mike Tyson is a total jackass!
Notice he didn’t fare well in the ‘writing’ part. Plus, how come he didn’t compete with a caucasoid male?
