DMX in the Hospital After Four-Wheeler Accident

The rapper DMX is getting it in with his fun in the sun, in spite of all of his troubles.  The problem with the DMX type of fun is that you can sometimes end up in the hospital.  The rapper ended up getting a concussion after his four-wheeler lost control and ended up flipping on him.   He was near his home in South Carolina when the incident took place, but it appears that he’s going to be OK.

DMX told TMZ that he remembers the lights from the ambulance, but not much else.  He doesn’t know when he’s going to be released.  His last hospital visit came about after suffering food poisoning just a few months ago.

DMX has been in trouble with the law for years, derailing a once stellar career as a hip hop artist.  He was first tried for rape and sodomy back in 1999, as well as unlawful imprisonment, but was exonerated shortly thereafter.  He was arrested later for numerous charges, including drug possession, animal cruelty and various forms of violence or weapons possession.

DMX has been in and out of jail for the past decade, leading some to wonder if his addictions will keep him from ever having a true comeback tour.  We’re still waiting to see if he can come back, but with each passing year, it looks like it’s a no-go.
