The Queen of media, Oprah Winfrey, has spoken numerous times about how it is important to ignore most of what is written and said in the media. She has said that she generally doe snot read anything that is written about her because it is usually distorted and sensationalized.
Through the years, as her show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, enjoyed success and top ratings, the media queen was constantly accused of not doing enough to focus on the Black community and bringing attention to the needs and issues of Black people.
This weekend the Talk Show queen decided that she would answer a “tweeter” who implied that she had not done enough for the “ghettos in America”,

Oprah has been exciting to me. I have written a sociology book on her. It does not repeat what is known about her. I think she should be discussed in classes.
