Usher’s Son Declared Brain Dead
Kyle Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, is now brain dead, according to TMZ. Glover was the victim of a jet ski accident that left him hospitalized in critical condition this week. The family, according to published reports, has not yet decided if they are going to take him off life support.
The boy was in an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta when a man with a jet ski struck the boy in the head. Glover was unconscious when taken to the hospital. A teen girl was with the boy when he was hit, and she sustained a broken arm. The man riding the jet ski was reportedly with the same group as Glover and his friend.
There have been no charges filed, and alcohol does not appear to have played a role in the incident. Usher and his family have made no statements since the incident took place. Usher reportedly chartered a plane to fly Tameka to be with her son.

Bla k folks have shown themselves to be the degenerate people the rest of the world sees us as. To make the comments some have made on this site is just disgusting. None of you know Tameka or the real story of their marriage. To assume that Usher did not also do wrong shows how really sick some folks are. Both black men and women truly hate black girls and women. I hope in the name of Christ, God brings some of you down to your knees. I hope you animals realize that black men kill black women more than any other group of men kill women of their own race in this country. But yea I forgot. It’s those back women’s fault.

My prayers are with Tameka Foster and Usher at this time and their siblings. I pray Usher and Tameka can work out the custody issues and put the fighting behind them. I am praying for the both of them. I lost my mom Christmas 2012 so I know how it feels to be told your loved one is brain dead. Praying for them and their strength.

It was an adult move that Usher made in chartering a plane to get Tameka. I am many, many years older than Usher and I wouldn’t have lifted a finger to send her a plane. That’s just the “evil” in me. I wouldn’t have even answered the telephone if she called to talk about the incident. I don’t really know too much of his music, but I do believe that he is a decent human being.

My prayers go out for Tameka God’s will would be done . I hope she’s surrounded by loveones . The biological father haven’t been mentioned in the comments that I read but prayers going up for you as well .

Yes, this is very sad and tragic. However, should they remove life support I hope they will be unselfish and donate his organs that he may live on in some other child or adult wating. as African Americans we so often treat the dead body better than we treat the live one. I am happy to be on the donar list and will donate this entire shell for tissues, organs, and research. I have a do not resusitate order, and a Living Will on file and my loved ones are well informed of my desires. I will pray for a miracle in this young child’s life. May God’s will be honored for the entire family.

It’s sad this little boy has lost his life at such a young age. Maybe Tameka will get her act together when it comes to her kids. I have much respect for Usher on the report that he chartered a plane to fly Tameka to be with her son even though she has put him through h**l and back with their own children. This is an extremely sad situation for all families this young child was related to.

I hope this was a wake up call for Tameka Foster’s selfish tail. She has been so bent on making Usher’s life miserable and taking his money, now she’s in the sufferer’s chair. She’s greedy and I hope this incident with her son has humbled her. Sometimes God allows things to happen to humble us and stop our destruction. I hope this shook her up and that God will keep His loving and merciful hand on that child. Miracles do happen and that boy can come out of this.

My prayers are with this family and many others who have to or have had to encounter such a situation. I have been there, had a son declared brain dead and on support for about 2 weeks. It was the longest two weeks of my life and every time I walked that hallway from the family room set aside to the bedside was the longest walk ever taken.
My only prayer for them is that they make sure that they come to peace and receive any counsel if necessary, before making a decision to remove support. I removed support and did not receive any and have lived many years with the “what if” guilt. Some people don’t, I just would like to give that advice to some ahead of time. It has been almost 20 years and still I sometimes have to pray and ask God for peace from the “what if”.
And to those who think that they would lose their mind over this and many other tragedies, I can’t begin to tell you all that I have had to endure that many times others have told me they knew they would not have made it through a life such s mine, enduring things that I have. I can only say that God will give you the grace as you seek Him and day by day you learn to put one foot in front of the other and through His strength, many times you have none of your own, you make it. Never, Never, Never, no matter what life hands you…..give up, because you can use these experiences to help others…….we all have a destiny and duty to each other to help each one.
God Bless Usher and his family…..prayers are with you. There is no reason that you in your humanity may be able to answer for this and please take on no guilt and blame for what has happened…..God in His infinite wisdom will work it out.
The last thing that I leave you with is the thought that, there are times in God’s wisdom will allow things that He could have pervent with His power.

I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD SON WHO I LOVE EMENSELY, IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN TO HIM I WOULD BE LITERALLY SUICIDAL!
THIS IS GREAT PAIN AND I FEEL FOR THIS FAMILY.

Very, very sad and it makes me angry to think this young child will lose his life so needlessly. Even without the danger and the accidents, I cannot abide jet-skis, the noise they make and the way they affect anyone else who simply wants a quiet time at the beach. I wish they could be banned altogether.

You’re right. Jet skis are dangerous and should not be allowed in some places where there are a lot of people doing their own thing in the water. People on jet skis aren’t thinking about other people, they’re just having fun and are oblivious. There should be a designated place for “jet skis only”, as to stop innocent victims from being harmed.
