Kwame Kilpatrick’s Life Still Being Rocked by Legal Problems

Part of you wants to root for Kwame Kilpatrick, but then there is part of you that thinks he’s a devil.  The city of Detroit is undergoing horrible financial problems right now, and much of this can be put on the back of the youngest mayor in the history of the city.  The “Hip-hop mayor” was all the rage just a few years ago, and now like so many other black men out of hip hop, he has one foot in the jail cell and another foot in the court room.  Rapper Beanie Sigel just went to jail for tax evasion, Young Buck is going to prison for the same reason, and Kwame Kilpatrick has already gone to jail himself.  Maybe hip hop is not good for us, at least some of it.
