You just keep hoping that the good lord will bless the city of Detroit. A pastor was visiting the city this week all the way from Texas. Texans might already have good reason to fear Detroit, and this pastor might have second thoughts about his next visit. The pastor was in the sermon when someone had the audacity to step into the lord’s territory and take the rims right off his car.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but Dwayne Houston is not the first prominent figure to be robbed in Detroit in recent weeks. Just recently, a politician (State Rep. Jimmy Womack) was carjacked. Also, Pastor Marvin Winans was attacked and beaten by men who stole his car as well. The city that loves cars still loves them, even though most people can’t afford them.

The tires and rims of a Texas pastor’s car were stolen while he was attending a church service revival in Detroit, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Pastor Dwayne Houston received a phone call about a half-hour into Sunday’s revival, alerting him that a thief had stripped the rims and tires off his car in the parking lot.

Certainty no one deserves to have their property stolen but I agree with others here commenting. Any “pastor” who believes in that sort of excessive materialism has the same mentality as a pimp or drug dealer.

i dont know this pastor, but i do know plenty of negro pastors who ride through slums in cadillacs to collect their tides from poor black mothers on welfare, and feel it is the Lord’s will for them to do so! SICK. no true man of God does that.
They sell these black single mothers false hope and flirt with them, and feel good about taking food out of their babies mouth.
