Last week a woman died after a failed abortion procedure at Planned Parenthood in Chicago. The clinic was delayed in their efforts to contact emergency care, resulting in the death of the 24-year-old woman. Now Illinois pro-life groups are even more aggressive in their efforts to attack Planned Parenthood, which has turned the woman’s death into a major political football.
Tonya Reaves received a second-trimester dilation and evacuation procedure on July 20th. The procedure (that began at 11am) caused Reaves to bleed more than expected. Reaves was taken to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in a fire department ambulance. At the hospital, doctors performed another ultrasound, dilation and evacuation.

This is a tragedy that could have of been prevented if the staff would of acted immediately and promptly. Its sickening to think this lady went to Planned Parenthood to have an abortion which resulted in her death due to negligence and unprofessionalisn. The family of this young lady should seriously consider hiring an attorney and filing a lawsuit to possibly prevent this heinous behavior from happening to someone else.
