We just really don’t know what to make of this one. Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant has been accused of trying to kill his own mother. At least those were the words of his mother when she called 911. We don’t think that Bryant would kill his mom, but we are wondering why he would put his hands on his mother in the first place.

The case puts the struggling Dallas Cowboys into quite the quandary as they are still trying to seek a return to glory like they had in the mid-1990s. It’s now 2012, and the Cowboys are a shadow of what they used to be. If Bryant goes to jail, that could set them back even further. BlackLikeMoi.com tells more:

Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant is in a host of legal trouble after his mother claimed that her son tried to kill her. In a domestic violence incident for the ages, Angela D. Bryant, Dez’s mother, is heard on a 911 call saying ”tried to kill me,” and “He won’t go home. I keep telling him to go home. He won’t go.”

Bryant, who is 23-years old, turned himself into police shortly after the incident. A warrant was issued for his arrest in DeSoto, a town south of Dallas. Police had arrived to his mother’s house to find her with a swollen wrist and bruised upper arms.

What in the h**l is going on with people these day’s? I can’t imagine hitting my mother under any circumstances regardless of the upbringing I had. There is two sides to every story so I’m interested to know what Dez’s version of the story is. Times have truly changed in our society where children have the audacity to possibly verbally and physically insult their parents.

Listened to the 911 call on ESPN today. Really unfortunate. The worst part is his Mom was raped at about age 13 by his father (a 40+ year old Pimp at the time)

He was never brought up in a good situation, and I actually feel sorry for him. But he has plenty of positive influence he can surround himself with now and he ought to go down that road sooner than later or he may just end up where he started.
