Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has been on medical leave since early last month, but new revelations indicate that he is dealing with a medical condition which is more serious than
what he originally already disclosed.
“Recently, we have been made aware that he has grappled with certain physical and emotional ailments privately for a long period of time,” said a statement from Frank E. Watkins, the director of communications for Congressman Jackson.
In addition, “According to the preliminary diagnosis from his doctors, Congressman Jackson will need to receive extended in-patient treatment as well as continuing medical treatment thereafter.”
The initial statement from Jackson’s office said he had been suffering from “exhaustion”.

I agree with Torre, I am from Chicago and have been in the company of JJ Jr, he is beyond ARROGANT, rude, and on capitol hill, just nasty! Loves to be under white people though. The states attorney who prosecuted fmr gov.blago of Illinois is retiring.loose ends needs to be tied up. He was caught up in the sting trying to buy pres. obama vacated senate seat and had to tell on blago who ended up going to jail. He will be under pressure because he knows whats coming. Stay tuned

Sounds like he might have picked up the AIDS virus from his s****l encounters. This would affect his health physically and emotionally. You would have thought that Jesse, Jr. would not have had his marital affairs like his dad but I guess the saying is true…..like father, like son! I wish him a speedy recovery. :/

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, has also affected the native American Indians, they were giving liquor as a treatment for their trauma, and US blacks was giving hard drugs to try to fix ours ,when the America Government has a post Traumatic syndrome with another couuntry it fixes it with a war.

Prayers for him and the family as they go through the storm of life. God will take care. He was a young Congressmen when we met fighting for all our children at the Defense League event one June month. I still hold the photo with care. I believe the Lord will take care of him, he did the right thing. Everyone needs a check up from head to toe and an MRI done, believe me. I wise Doctor told me this in 1994 and I have seen others who do not take the advise and no longer here. Go get yourselfs checked out, protected, medicated and prevention is the best for all. Lack of Knowledge gets you no where but down in the earth. Holistic Matters.

I am from Chicago, a few years ago I was in on a few meetings with Jr. The meetings were held like the mafia, in order for him to endorse your campaign you had to “kiss the ring”. He wanted to know your finances and then he wanted his camp to conduct a “poll” that cost $30,000. There is a good chance that Jr’s “illness” is stemming from the possibity that his benefactor is going to drop a dime in him to stay out of jail.
With regards to Sr. take a ride over to Operation Push….half the seats in the place are broken, the place is in shambles! He has done nothing to improve the place! You can say what you want about Minister Farrakan (sp?), The Mosque is beautiful and well taken care of.. Sr is always available for a photo opp!

I will elucidate, his health problem is “and” was caused by his criminal activity; meaning, “HE GOT CAUGHT”, and had to turn “State/Federal Evidence”, also know as “Snitch”…
His career is doomed, daddy cannot help; daddy bailed out…
Basically, he chose to play with the “DEVIL” and lost…and it is tearing his behind apart…

You can at least try to get some of your information correct when making such outlandish statements. First, the FBI is not checking for Jackson, Jr, he served undercover as part of their probe, providing them with key information. Secondly, I did a search just to check and their are no reports of this man being a crack head. Let’s not forget that he has been a successful congressman and with the exception of the initial question regarding his association with the then Illionis governer, this man has not had any blemish against his name. He is also known on the hill as being smart and ethical.

When Africans had few black spokemen to speak for justice for us–there was a Rev. Jesse Jackson. Shame on us for not honoring his contributions to the progress of black people. Many of us would still be under the yoke of severe oppression if it was not for the Rev. Jackson and other Civil Rights leaders. They led the Revolution.
Yes, I know he is human. But, still I say–shame on us for being bamboozled by the white media into believing that he and other black spokemen are charlatans.

Over the years I have begged Jesse Jackson organization to help me when I was a victim of discrimination. One year I even gave them $3000 from my single mom salary, and got not even a thank you or help to save my job. All the while I had to watch jesse speak up for RICH blacks, or high profile discrimination cases that would result in suing the city for big dollars, but never have i saw his organization do one thing but TALK and feed blacks garbage that the democrats pay him handsomely to deliver, AND all of his Black this, Black that serves only to PERPETUATE the rascism THAT GETS HIM PAID HANDSOMELY, WHILE THE BLACK MASSES SITUATIONS NEVER IMPROVE, ONLY WORSEN. THINK ABOUT IT. AFTER 50 YEARS YOU SEE NO GOOD RESULTS FROM ALL THE WORK HE CLAIMED TO DO FOR BLACK PEOPLE.

This may p**s some people off, and i don’t want to sound insensitive, but the one or two times i’ve met this brother, he came off very, very uppity, arrogant, and emotionally distant. At the risk of sounding even more judgemental, which i am trying hard not to do, I must say that this sounds like a case of “getting caught with your pants down”. Kinda looks lke the guy has never really had to struggle in life, and now that he has some real world issues to deal with, he’s in hiding. But I do pray for his good health, I would not wish that on anyone, not even Mitt Romney, or worst, Uncle Clarence Thomas.

It is a satistical fact: Blacks do not seek mental health treatment as needed, compared to other racial and ethnic groups. We have allowed the stigma of mental health to dictate our likelihood of seking treatment. Consquently, far too many blacks suffer unnecessarily.

As a mental health professional, I can tell you that members of many ethnic groups, not just African Americans, struggle with the issue of not trusting mental health professionals with their business, and as such do not make attempts to access these services. Also, many minority groups deal with their problems in a host of alternative ways, i.e. church and religious counseling, talking to friends and family members, etc. These are all viable options, as is counseling or therapy. Some times therapy kicks in when other options are not enough, however, it does not mean that therapy should necessarily be the first step in the healing process. Also, the idea that African Americans do not seek mental health services in significant numbers is false. There are a lot more African Americans who seek and use these services today than in the past.

HIV is synthetic. It has been developed over a number of years and it has an affinity for people of color. Your scientific rudiments seemed right on, up until you brought in the unscientific and mad ramblings of the “bible”. The African Bonobo monkey is the king of s****l creatures and was a surefire guinea-pig for testing the HIV/AIDS concoctions, which were more than likely, created and indoctrinated from the minds of the “Christian” bible brain-bent, white, right-winged racist, and very powerful age old “elite”! When there is talk of genocide no one, but no one does it better than the whites in power! When you speak of religious beliefs and bible chatter, again, no one teaches and preaches and uses it better than the white power structure.
