Dewitt Wright was in bed on the first floor of a Chicago building when a bullet fired from a gun on the second floor went through the
floor and hit him in the shoulder.
Wright, 62, later died of his wounds at the hospital.
On Monday, Jamalh Nelson, 32, was arrested by the fugitive apprehension section-Great Lakes regional task force and charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to Wright’s death, according to Chicago Police.
Police say Nelson was playing with the handgun on the second floor of the building when he fired the bullet that killed Wright.
