Michele Bachmann is one of those people you look at and say, “How did she get into Congress anyway?” The idea that so many people supported her is a reminder of just how disturbed our country really is. The next target in her cross hairs is a Congressman with a stellar record of service and loyalty to his country. Even her fellow Republicans are telling Bachmann that she needs to kill the witch hunt.
Continuing her attacks on other members of the federal government, the always-interesting Rep. Woman Michele Bachmann accused Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison of being associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
“He has a long record of being associated with [the Council on American–Islamic Relations] and with the Muslim Brotherhood,” Bachmann told Glenn Beck.
Ellison, who is the one sane political leader out of Minnesota, said that Bachmann’s allegations are false and problematic. He also says that Bachmann is a McCarthy-era figure who has an intense fear of people who are different from herself. Bachmann strongly believes that Muslim extremists have infiltrated the US government at its highest levels.
