Maybe old Mittens needs to just cough up the goods. His fellow Republicans are encouraging Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to stop messing around and release his tax returns. They say that if there is nothing to see, then there’s not to see. But there is something to see, which is why Mitt isn’t letting you see anything.
Romney is getting dogged by allegations that he is hiding money in offshore accounts and doing all the other shady things that rich people do to exploit the poor. What’s even more hilarious is that he wants to be our president, which means that he gets to make policy surrounding this crazy behavior. Obama is calling him out on the matter but Romney isn’t budging.
When you consider the impact of the Citizens United Case, saying that corporations are people and that they can give unlimited amounts of money to presidential campaigns in secret, you can see that our democracy is failing. According to the analysis of political experts with Your Black World, we don’t see it getting any better.

We know that the Democrats are pushing hard to see Mitt Romney’s tax returns. They want to know what’s going on in his financial life, and from the way he’s hiding things, there appears to be a problem. Making matters worse for poor Mitt is that even some of his fellow Republicans are starting to ask that he release his information to the public, adding an odd twist to an already complicated story.
Pete Sessions, a Republican out of Texas who heads GOP campaigns, said that he is fine with questions about Romney’s taxes and financial holdings.
