A school teacher decided that in order to get revenge on her husband’s cheating ways, she would kill his entire family, herself included. Lissette Bamenga, a 29-year old woman, slit her own wrists after she found out that her husband, police officer Trevor Noel, had gotten another woman pregnant.
Bamenga chose to punish her husband by killing his five year old son and four month old daughter. The children were found dead at the scene, but the mother survived and was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where she is in stable condition.
“You got what you wanted,” the woman allegedly wrote in her suicide note. “Me and the kids are in a better place now.”
Bamenga put a “do not resuscitate” order on her body before she was found by emergency responders. She’d set the gas off in her house to kill her and the kids, but only the children died. Sources say that Bamenga believed that the woman her husband impregnated lives in Spain.
“In a jealous rage, his wife killed her children and then tried to kill herself,” a law-enforcement source said.
In addition to trying to kill her kids with the gas, Bamenga is accused of putting de-icer in her kids’ juice. Police found the de-icer in the woman’s residents after the suicide attempt. She also sealed off the windows of her apartment so the gas would kill her and the kids.
Firefighters saw the five-year old dead on the floor of the apartment after showing up at the home when a neighbor called complaining about the smell of heavy gas.
“I could hear them going, ‘Miss, Miss, can you hear me?’ ” said Gwen Richardson, a neighbor.

This woman was experiencing postnatal depression and not even her husband could have notice because he had other things on his mind. When a woman gives birth her hormones are all over the place. Her condition should have been “picked up” by her physician. This does not give her the right to murder her children however; during this illness no woman thinks rationale. I am sorry for the death of the children and also sorry for the mother. I don’t think anyone gives birth to children to murder them later. What a sad story.

we don’t know the full story so we don’t know if she had postpartum depression! If she did, I can’t hold to much hatered towards her because I had it before, and it is hard to describe.When I left that hospital with my newly baby it’s like I left a part of me there. I took notice I wasn’t the same happy go lucky person I was at first. I didn’t have the pregnancy mood swings, I was my normal down to earth calm self.After a few days, then weeks I started feeling more and more sad and depressed, angry,almost devilish, felt like an alien had invaded my body and I couldn’t do anything. One day the baby was crying so bad that I started to cry louder than she did.I realized I couldn’t take it anymore so I got dressed and looked for my keys so I could go jump off of the famous suicide bridge people from my area are known for jumping off of, but I couldn’t find my keys, and I leave them exactly in the same place all the time.I was one of the lucky ones because my family saw the change in me and made me get some help. I never once thought of harming my baby, I only wanted to leave her because I felt like I couldn’t be a good mom to her.There are some people who are just plain mean and evil who know what they are doing, but then there are people who aren’t in their right mind and need help before they completely lose themselves!May god be the judge because only he knows.

It’s sad when women think their lives can’t go on without a man.Now she has to live with what she did to her kids and he is already restarting a family.Just sad.
