Your Black World previously reported on the death of Heaven Sutton, who was murdered outside her home while she and her mother were selling lemonade outside their Chicago.
The 7 year old had just gotten her hair done in preparation for a trip to Disney World when she was shot in the back while she and her mother sold candy and snacks. Her death caused an outcry against gang violence in the community, and now it looks as if the 7 year old’s murderer may’ve been found.
Alleged gang-member Jerrell Dorsey, 26, has been charged with her murder and is being held without bond.

I AGREE WITH YOU CAROL…we waiting for someone to come save us…save ourselves…i call the popo on anyone in my neighborhood that looks or acts suspious or that i have never seen before, and let the police sort it out…we just let anyone come and do whatever they want in our neighborhood, not me…show me some ID or go back to your own hood…and what the h**l you want over here.

Jessie Jackson & Al Sharpton is not here to take care of each and everyones problems. Adults should be able to handle themselves in a responsible manner. These men have lives & families of their own. It is so easy to blame others for the short comings of our own, why dont you set a good example and form an association in your community and do just what you are expecting these men to roam across the globe to do. Get off your duff and be proactive instead of waiting for others to come and move you. Try moving yourself……

They should give him some jungle justice, he doesn’t deserve a trial.
I even feel stronger now that black people need to develop a corriculum to teach our black children to discuss issues (Problem sloving) without a gun or a knife. Hate and voilence are lesson learned during slavery, which have never been addressed. We need to take responsibility and begin to teach the children how to resolved problems without killing each other.If we look at some of these shows on television such as Maury, Basketball wives, Springer,Atlanta housevives and so many others, how we behave. We are the laughing stock of the media,look who is making the big bucks off us acting like bafoons, and tramps and we are so stupid that we gladly sell our soul for a few dollars. Yes everybody is going to tell me slavery been over a very long time ago, but the effect and hate is still lingering amongs us in our communities and among our race. Just stop being so busy gossiping and looking for 15 minutes of fame and take the time to look around you, and in the black communities all over the world and look who is killing each other, and tell me that we do not have a problem.You wont hear it from Jessie Jackson, or Al Sharpton, or the Congerssional Black Caucus, they are too busy chasing a dollar to think about what is goinf on in the communities. You only see them when they need to pimp you, and ask you to vote for them. Once every two years.Ther is one exception to the group I mentioned, and that is Barbara Lee, Gongresswoman from California. The rest is all about themselves.Look at your communities and tell me the last time any of them come around and ask you what does the communities need. I bet you cant tell me. We are as divided as a communities the Atlantic ocean could run through it.

I Wish The Police Had Shot & Killed Him Instead Of Arresting Him. We Need Some New Laws That Will Allow The Police To Kill Pieces Of Trash Like That, Instead Of Letting Them Sit In Jail After Killing Children.

My thing is this, where were the parents of this child? No 7 yr old should be outside without supervision.
This murderer needs the death penalty or life without the possibility of parole! This is senseless, and should of been prevented. The critical times, hard to deal with are evident. We should know by now that no one is safe. This is another random act of cowardly murderers striving for attention.
Please know where ur kids are at all times, protect them.

She was being supervised. The article clearly states that she and her mother were selling candy and snacks outside of their home when this incident occurred.

“Alleged” gang member! IF this is punk, who shot this little angel, he should be put to death!
He should be in the same cell as zimmerboy, the punk who shot and killed Trayvon.
IT’S AMAZING HOW THEY GIVE THIS NEGRO NO BOND, BUT zimmerboy (the pale thug), MAY BE OUT AGAIN IF THE JUDGE GIVES HIM ANOTHER BOND!
