Will President Obama Scale Back Drug War During Second Term?

One of the major criticisms of President Obama’s first term is that he hasn’t done enough to combat the mass incarceration of black men for minor drug offenses. But now  insiders in the White  House are hinting that President Obama plans to take on this task during his second term. This promise could go a long way toward silencing Obama’s critics, many of whom have been hard on him for not doing more to help young black men:

Marc Ambinder of GQ magazine announced, on Monday, that “aids and associates” confirm President Obama will take steps to scale back America’s long-fought War on Drugs if elected to a second term.
