Nobel Prize Winner and former South African President Believed HIV/AIDS Was Created as a US Biological Weapon

Some people believe that HIV/AIDS was a virus created in labs that was spread by the CIA with the intention of killing blacks and other groups in this racial conspiracy. The disease was reported to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 1981. From that point on, people have drawn connections between the virus and a plot to eradicate blacks.  The theories are vast and wide, and some say, easily discounted.  But given that the US did, at one point, deliberately spread Syphilis to African Americans and give involuntary sterilizations, some are wondering if the theories have any credence.

Then president of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki said that the U.S. government created the disease in their military labs as a biological weapon to be used as subtle warfare against another country.
