First Lady Michelle Obama Involved in New York City Bomb Scare

You get this feeling that Michelle, Sasha and Malia could do without all the hype of being in the White House.  Michelle and the girls planned a simple trip to see a play in New York and it led to a major bomb scare that practically shut down one of the largest cities in the world.  Michelle and the kids are ok and there was no real scare, but the simple fear of something like this happening is enough to make the entire world nervous.  As Barack sends is wife and kids out in public, you have to wonder how concerned he is for their safety and whether there is real joy in taking trips to see Spiderman.

First Lady Michelle Obama thought that she was going to have a nice, casual trip to see “Spiderman, the Musical” with Sasha and Malia this week.  When the Obamas arrive to New York, traffic is already held up for blocks, and the city is put at a stand still.  Things were even worse when a North Carolina businessman accidentally set off a bomb scare with an off-hand remark that suddenly put him on the front page of every newspaper in the country.

Ross Mandell, a businessman out of North Carolina, was getting his bags checked by security when he said that “if the show is bad, they’ll blow up,” referring to his bags.
