Mitt Romney’s New Ad Shows that Black People Just Love Him to Death

When you go to an NAACP event and get booed, it’s hard to argue that black people love you.  But that’s the plan for the Romney campaign, which probably has an African American advertising budget of less than $10.  But hey, if you can put something quick and simple on YouTube, then why not go for it?

Some have bought into the new Romney ad, which has gotten over 25,000 views.  But that number is tiny when compared against the millions that are going to be needed to win this election.  Also for Romney, we must openly ask him why in the world he thinks that he can insult black people at the NAACP and then pretend to ask for the black vote. This is a strange time in American politics.

KultureKritic.com tells more:

Mitt Romney released a video this week proving, beyond any doubt, that his vision is in complete alignment with the bulk of the African American community.  Ol Mitt has stepped up with an ad featuring his recent speech to the NAACP, showing the speech to be clear evidence that he has the boldness to share his vision with an African American audience and that the audiences love him for it.

In the video, there is a black woman who is more than happy to say that ”Governor Romney’s speech hit the nail on the head.  We have a nation that’s suffering economically. He wants to provide an equal opportunity to every American.”

I don’t know who will win the election, but I will say this. If Mitt Romney wins it speaks volume to the level of awareness in this country. How can a man who represents only a tiny portion of the population be seriously considered as a person who can guide this country out of its present economic crisis. He is a wealthy man who is totally and completely out of touch with the average American citizen, and in my opinion he couldn’t care less. Sure, FOX News can make him look good and possible help get him elected. But what assurance do we have that once he’s in office he will do the right things once his other rich friends come knocking?
