Sen. Jon Kyl Says Obama Needs to Shut Up About the Middle Class

One simple rule in politics in both America and around the world is that you have to respect the middle class. One senator doesn’t care about that rule and feels that President Obama needs to stop talking about the middle class already, since he’s getting sick of it. Senator Jon Kyl is part of America’s most persistent frustration with senators in Washington. He is among the wealthy himself and has no shame in saying that other people simply do not matter. He has put his foot in his mouth recently with remarks about the middle class that may cost him in the next election.

Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) doesn’t care too much for the middle class, and he made that sentiment known on Monday.
Kyl said that President Obama talks about the middle class all the time, and he’s tired of it.
“We have a president who talks incessantly about class, particularly the middle class,” Kyl said.
According to Kyl, even the term “middle class” is “misguided and wrong” (maybe he’d prefer “soon to be serfs” ) and “even dangerous.” And by talking about the middle class, Kyl says President Obama is ”spreading economic resentment [that] weakens American values” and ignoring “the uniquely meritocratic basis of our society.”
