Writing on Reason4Rhymes.com, Dr. Boyce Watkins references the list of musicians who’ve died of AIDS and discusses why the list may not be entirely truthful all the time. Dr. Watkins argues that many African American families are not quick to announce that their loved ones were infected with HIV, further adding to the sinister nature of the AIDS epidemic. Dr. Watkins also notes that many celebrities who die from AIDS are discussed without mentioning the thousands of people they may have infected before dying.
Hiphopwired.com recently put together a list of 7 musicians who died from AIDS. At the top of the list was the rapper Eazy-E, who loved to rap about how he kept “p*ssy in the freezer,” and all the women he wanted to sleep with. Not to say that anyone expected Eazy to die from AIDS, but it certainly wasn’t a surprise.

There was a conspiracy theory that gays would have the right to marry? How sad. Quick question though, does gay marriage really affect the lives of heterosexuals or do you guys want something to complain about? If homosexuality goes against the beliefs of others, why do you all feel the need to push your opinions on others? People shouldn’t have to to fight for basic human rights regardless of how they choose to life their life.
