In one of those head-shaking moments that makes you wonder what in the h**l is wrong with our pastors, Juanita Bynum made herself the latest celebrity to speak about engaging in the “relations” with the same s*x. Bynum went onto the radio and told the whole city of Atlanta that she has slept with women in the past, which kinda throws a wrench into anyone who thought that most black pastors have issues with homosexuality. Not only did she admit to sleeping with women, she also talked about sleeping with a lot of men and using drugs.
What?
Does it really make sense that we have pastors seeking to condemn other people for their behavior when they are doing some of the craziest stuff around? Most of us know people who’ve never set foot in a church who don’t get involved with drugs and promiscuity. Maybe it’s time to have a revamp of the black church and what it really means to relate to God. If people think that it just means saying a bunch of words, showing up to a building and thumping someone upside the head with your bible, then you’ve got it all wrong. It’s also about how you choose to live your life.
BlackBlueDog.com tells the story of Juanita Bynum:
Of all the celebs that are coming out of the closet lately, the last one you would expect to do so would be pastor Juanita Bynum. But then again, pastors are doing all kinds of crazy things these days and in all days past. Bynum, during an interview on V-103, admitted that she’s been around the block, getting with all kinds of men, sleeping with women, doing drugs and having a life that appears to be as wild as another prominent, wealthy Atlanta pastor we know. Wait, you probably know a few Atlanta pastors who fit that description.

Wanda, remember the prodigal son? How he “came to himself” and God is still using his story and experiences for out glory and guidance today. Juanita could have stayed in that lifestyle and not listened to the voice of God but BECAUSE she remembered her strong family teachings and a mother and father who was praying for her, she repented and turned her life around, and God has used her mightily. The mere fact that more people can recognize her name for spreading the works of God,than your name(or mine for that matter), speaks to how she has been favored of the Lord.

Renee, it wouldn’t be so bad if these people themselves weren’t judging others. Be a little more analytical of the issue. It’s ok to be Christian; it’s good to be saved, and so forth, but let’s be for real. When you have the ambassadors of Christ running around condemning lifestyles that they have or are living, those are failed leaders. If that’s the case, Let’s forgive our politicians when they steal, lie, and cheat. These hypocritical pastors and ‘sanctified’ folks love people like you.

Having values or lack of is what determines how we live our lives. If we have family values instilled at a young age, they should follow us all the days of our lives despite what situations we may find ourselves in during a lifetime. Evidently, when people become weak and forget their upbringing from their parents, grandparents and other elders, they either were not well grounded in their values or they never had anyone to teach them how to maintain good character and to make wise decisions. Life consists of choices, good and bad, and there are always different paths which we can take; it is up to each and everyone as individuals to make the best choices. Evidently, Sister Juanita was a lost sheep before finding her way back. I pray that she is now on the right track, but that she also realizes that other people cannot be judged for their mistakes on earth but that only God is qualified to judge. I just do not like people that have lived their lives the way they saw fit, and try to put their ways on other folks once they are straight in their lives; But thank our Lord that He forgives and saves us by his grace and mercy!

She’s human as well, she knows better now and has repented! Jesus came down for sinners and not the righteous! And you so eager to mention that other people who don’t even set their feet in church have not engaged in such, aaah but now scripture says one has to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God, so that entails you can be a good person but until you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and be born again then your goodness goes void! Let’s not judge now. She made a mistake and I’m sure she learned from it!

The caucasoid feminist movement fvcked up negroid females minds.
Negroid females fought for the ‘equal’ rights of cracker females, but [they] got the better end of the battle (caucasoid females).
Over 80% of caucasoid females prospered from AA, while only 7% of Black women; only 3% of Black men prospered from AA, while their caucasoid counter parts was 10%.
Your vote does not count!!! It only makes it BETTER FOR THESE FOREIGNERS and caucasoid females and males.
BELIEVE THAT!
