Cuba is No Longer Going to Jail

The New Orleans bartender who claimed that actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. pushed her has decided not to press charges.  The incident got national attention, as Gooding was a man on the run for a short while.  Luckily for the actor, things have calmed down and he can get on with his life.   The incident, which took place in the Old Absinthe House, a bar in New Orleans, appears to have been resolved.

“It is our understanding the employee involved in the alleged altercation has chosen to drop all charges against Mr. Cuba Gooding Jr.,” said Old Absinthe House spokeswoman Carolyn Pierce. “While we continue to investigate this matter internally, we are hopeful that this will put an end to the matter.”
