Halle Berry is slowly becoming a cultural icon that will be remembered for many generations to come. The always-beautiful 45-year old recently announced that she is going to be a guest star on the television show, Sesame Street. Berry joins a long list of big time stars who’ve dropped in on the show to spend time with the puppets, muppets and anything else that might hanging around.
Halle will appear in the 43rd season of the show and her escort for the event will be Elmo. They are going to discuss how to use the word “nibble.”
Berry has not mentioned whether or not Elmo is an easy co-star to work with or not, but we assume she is enough of a professional to handle anyone. Also, Berry’s daughter Nahla, is four years old, right smack in the middle of the show’s demographic. That’s got to give any mom a lot to smile about.
Berry isn’t the only major black star to appear on children’s shows. The Rev. Jesse Jackson has appeared on Sesame Street and Morgan Freeman appeared on The Electric Company, singing a song about how he loves to take a bath in a casket.
