Everybody knows Rep. Allen West loves a spectacle. In fact, he probably plays the race card better than anyone on the left. Remember when he said the tanning tax in the Affordable Care Act was racist? Or when he compared himself to Harriet Tubman, saying he was going to free plantation loving black Democrats? Or how about his most recent gaffe, when he said that Obama wants to make us all his slaves? If you’re looking for a Congressman who is willing to make a fool of himself for the cause, look no further than Mr. West. The man has never met a political stunt that he didn’t immediately want to cozy up to.
